Today I felt so dumb...
My aunt is supposed to be having an Anniversary party. Its a bring your own chair and come have some bbq and games. I was positive that it was today..My mom said she was going to go to it after she got back from another friend's grad bbq. So at 5:30 i got my chair and went over to her house. Well i got there and there's NO one there. It was an hour after the time on the invitation. I knocked and called hello and wandered around the yard going auntie auntie....morgan...ted...helllooo anyone?
After about 10 minutes i went oh well and i went over to my parent's place. When i got there i said to my sister i had gone and no one was there. She says well Facebook says the party is on the 30th. Well i went and looked and i felt soooo dumb afterwards i went to the party THREE days early!
Have you ever thought something was on a certain day and found out you are WAY early or totally missed the event?

Thank You for the laugh, at least you didn't miss the party!!! Don't feel bad I had to leave fast to go give my daughter a ride from the dealership where she gets her oil changes done on her van and because I slept in I was in a rush. When I got there my little granddaughter says, "Grandma do you have your T shirt on inside out?" I looked and sure enough I did have mt T shirt on inside out. So now you can laugh at me.

That is so embarrassing! I've done it before. Sometimes you just get something set in your mind and it stays the wrong way :-(

I was wondering why it would be during the week. Although some people do during the week to make it on the actual day. I'm glad you didn't miss it though!

Well i was sure they would have the party on the weekend because the anniversary is on a weekday. And people tend to throw bashes like she has planned on weekends. BUT i forgot the next day is a holiday here as its Canada day so everyone would have the next day off anyways.

At some point or another, that has happened to everyone. LOL Atleast you got there three days early, and not three days late. I have had things happen where I thought they were on a certain date, and then something told me to look at the calendar, and see that they were on a different date. It's better to discover this stuff early, as opposed to late.

I've done some pretty silly things in my time, but I don't think I've ever gone to a party except when it was scheduled. How funny!
At least you weren't late and now you have a funny story to share at the 'real' party!

Hello friend,
I have never had a misfortune such as that. Sometimes I have reached a party right in time, which is supposed to be "early" by the standards here, because for some reason people think it is a fashion to turn up late for parties. However, i am punctual and for that reason, i do not want to be late.

I have been known to do that, but cannot remember any specifics at this time. I just know that I have done this, and you are not alone. I did miss a bill by three days this month. I hate that.
