Is it possible to take 3D photographs with a normal camera?

3D photographs look wonderful. It's so realistic like you are not watching a photograph but are on the scene itself. I wonder if it is possible to take three dimensional photographs with normal camera. Any idea? Please respond.

You could make a lot of pictures of each section of the surroundings you want to have a photo of and merge them into one panorama photo but that's just a theory rather than something I know that works.
Another option would be to make a video of the surroundings, but that's probably not what you're looking for I guess.

How can we merge a lot of pictures so that they produce 3D effect? I suppose your theory is just a theory and it would not work at all.

Not at all! There is a special camera called Hologram which can be used for the purpose. Ordinary camera records only the amplitude of the light wave. But hologram records both amplitude and phase of the waves. This produces 3D pictures!
