Its very good to bargain online for some very special and ordinary things, like ebay is one of the site where I can buy alot many things at reasonably low prices, but never thought of buying computer parts like ram or webcam and the like things. Would you buy some for your computer ever?

I don't like to purchase anything on line as there are lots of possibilities of receiving defected item and some time not more than a empty pack.If we want to make online purchase, we should do it with the selected and trusted sites only.As there is a possibility of bargaining and checking the components of the computer if we buy them directly from the dealers,I used to make purchases only with them. Also in case of failure of the parts, we can easily move to them and this may be very hard to get it corrected.

Unfortunately, I can't buy anything from ebay or sites like that, because I'm living in Iran.ebay dosn't support Iran
But I think It's very interesting to buy something from the internet.

I think it would be kind of interesting as well to buy something online,
I live in Sri Lanka so almost all online stores don't support my country.
But certain ebay sellers do ship to Sri Lanka but the shipping price is sometimes double the item price.:(

Buying online gives more variety. You can also call and ask questions. Great.

I prefer going to a couple of computer stores and canvass computer parts/accessories instead of doing it online.

This is a very good question. Many people will be very hesitant about purchasing such items totally unseen, although it actually makes very little difference.
If you visit a high street retialer, you will be unable to see whether a hard drive or RAM stick are of a given quality. Buying from an online store only differs by virtue of the time taken to return defective items.

I buy many things online but I would not buy small/fragile computer parts like RAM or hard disk. Things like these may break/malfunction when received. Normally I buy new stuff only. I also check seller's reputation.

No, I would never buy it online. I don't like buying general things online let alone computer parts, where there are great chances of defects. I always buy computer parts from the trusted venders.

Ebay is a good source of auction products, I really do not buy some computer parts but I do buy some storage devices at eBay for my PSP, camera and mobile phone. I would rather choose to buy computer parts to computer shops at malls so that I can observe them carefully and inspect them as well.
