Hi friends,
Intuition is an ability to recognize our inner voice. Many people don’t have the ability. Some are giving much importance to their inner voice but some do not know the same. In other words many people don’t know what intuition is and how to use it. An intuition may be an accurate message, so you can rely on it.
What about you friends? Are you a person to believe your intuition? Are you able to recognize it?
Please share your thoughts, experience etc.
Have a nice day to all.

Hi Sree!
I cannot say it with conviction that I always work after listening to o intuition. Sometimes I do realize and start feeling about likely results of certain future events, and sometimes my intuition tells me the correct position, however it may not be true always. I think intuition is based on our past experience and our wisdom, when we combined out past experiences and wisdom, we sometimes arrive at a result, which may turn out to be true.
How about you? Do you rely on your intuition? What have been your experiences so far on this account?

Hi Deepak,
It is true that probably we failed to follow up our intuition then lately regretting on the same. But some people are more blessed and can recognize their intuition and use the ability in a positive way. I also failed to follow up sometimes and later regretting that, ‘how sad I didn’t listen my inner voice’. In case of future events, we usually don’t want to agree if it is a bad news. Once I also rejected the same and don’t want to believe just because of the above reason – it was a sad news. But finally it came to me and after this incident I am little scared too…
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, I agree with you that sometimes not listening to inner voice or acting upon on our intuition could be dangerous.

I agree with that I have often done things much against my intuitions and faced failure or some negative impact. I feel that Intuition is a kind of sensory forewarning about things which the subconcious issues to us based on the many memories and experiences that are tucked away...

I do listen to my intuition! The times I haven't, have not turned out well so I always go with my "gut feeling" or intuition. Sometimes it comes to me in the form of dreams, sometimes as a sudden feeling of conviction. Some people aren't blessed with intuition and I'm grateful that I have it.

Hi dragon54u,
How are you? Thank you for coming as first.
You are right many are not blessed with intuition. It must be a blessing and can help in many ways. I am glad to know that you are able to listen your inner voice.
Thanks for sharing. Have a great time.

You make a good point about the dreams. I had forgotten about that. I agree that we should be grateful to have this ability, but I think more people have it than tap into it. They just brush it off or whatever. Too bad.

I think it just happens at times. If there is an inner voice I just rely on God and pray that He guides me or I say that I am doing it after placing the burden on His shoulders. God will save me if I follow an intuition and if I have this thought I am at peace. But whether this is an intuition without basis or some conclusion that has been arrived as a total of some instinctive feelings which have arisen from incidents of the past is what we ought to consider.Intuition may itself have som e basis or the other. Not everyone is endowed with ESP[extra censory perception]

Hi Kala,
I agree dear. We should be able to differentiate which is intuition and which is not. Sometimes we have some feeling which related with past experience but it may not be an intuition. So it depends on the person and his/her thinking. But once you started to realize it there may not be much confusion.
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.

You make an excellent point and ask a great question here Skreekala. Yes, I listen to my intuition. It has saved me many times. Sometimes, I have fought against it and been very sorry. Intuition is a powerful tool to lead you in the right direction, especially when your head may be confused. Do you think maybe the reason they call it "women's intuition" is because women tend to listen to theirs more often? Great topic!

Honestly for the longest time I would ignore my inner thoughts and intuition.. I had influences around me that made me believe that they were wrong or crazy.. Now I am in my own place, and I have to trust my inner voice, and listen to my intuitions.. It is learning how to trust them, which I am working on.. I have a tendency of second guessing them.. One day I will be more confident in myself.. It is a learning process that I will get in time!!

I have had several different people influence me throughout my life.. for the better and the worst.. My mother used her influences over me to her advantages... I did not realize any of this until I was in my early twentieths.. She still had a major influence or power over me that I was allowing.. At the same time I married young, and I trusted my husband... he took advantage over me too.. I was allowing it.. Now I am close to thirty and realizing the only influences that have power over me are the ones I allow.. I have to beware of my surroundings, and look at things for what they are; and not what could have been if only... or my life would be this way if this didn't happen or if that person didn't do that.. I had to stop allowing others to control me, and also top blaming everyone else for my problems.. just the person on the other side of the mirror... Aint no pro, still learning through the bumps and slides of life.. Trying to find that happy medium, which one day I will find..

Yes i have the ability but i am stupid enough to go against it and regret about it later. Like, the inside of me is screaming 'don't do' but i do and get into trouble while when it says 'do do' i don't do it and then again regret it. I guess i haven't learned to trust it yet. To be more exact, i feel like, when my intuition tells me to do something it is actually telling me not to do it.

Hi AAnshu,
I am sorry to learn that you are not using your intuition positively. But it is great that you can recognize your inner voice. Next time don't be act like a stupid and use the same favorably. I know you can do it so go ahead with it.
All the best and thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.

As far as I am concerned I get a lot of intuition.Intuitions are in most cases a call from your inner self either correcting you or preventing you from a terrible sin.If you heed your conscience the life will be better for you.But for an athiest or an agnostic what he directly sees or hears does matter. My own experience shows that the intuition has on many occassions come to my rescue.Different people call it by different names. Some treats it as an intervention by God. Others think a sub-conscious mind involuntarily controlling us and so on.What does matter is the proper deciphering of the inner calling.

Hi cosmo,
An theist can trust their inner voice, which is coming from them only.
I am glad to know that your intuition helped you for many times. For me, If ever I didn't listen then I faced the consequences too... even for simple things.
Thank you so much and sorry for the late reply, which was unintentional.

It took me a long long time to listen to my intuition, I found out that when I don't I end up with all kinds of problems, whether big or small, the problems arise. Last time I went on the highway, something told me to get off at the exit before I needed to and take the back roads, ended up traffic was backed up because of an accident and I was in a traffic jam for an hour. There are a lot of times when I do listen to it and find out later something bad happened and I would have been in the same place at the same time.

Dear friend,
I do listen to my intuitions, but I feel it had become an habit me. Sometimes some intuitions do not give the right results, that makes me confuse and to choose which I feel to take. Still listening to them at times had helped me lot. At times I not able to recognize it, but I do believe it.

Hi Sreekala, I absolutely believe in intuitions.i think it is simply our sub conscious that is warning us or sending a message regarding certain things. But the funny part is that sometimes in spite of warning bells in our mind we go ahead and do something almost as if we have to do it.I think that is destiny. I have had many such experiences where intuition had warned of possible negative consequences, but I still went ahead and did it, and found that my intuition was right afterall...

Hi Kiran,
You are absolutely right dear. It is our subconscious mind's warning regarding certain things. It is sad that sometimes we didn't give importance to our intuition and face the consequences.
Hope we will be careful in future.
Have an excellent day.

Hi,sreekala. Maybe I belong to the group of people who don`t know what intuition is and how to use it. I never feel I have intuition and every action is done by my deep thought. So, there isn`t intuition in my mind or I never recognize it exist. Once my high school teacher told me that if you meet some question in the exam just trust yourself and choose the answer that you have first impression no it. It always turn out to be rihgt answer. I don`t know if it can called intuition.

Hi flyisky,
Intuition is an ability to understand something without any reason. It is a quick insight. I have read that medication will help to improve the ability of intuition. You just try to concentrate on your mind and I think you will be able to understand the same.
All the best and thank you very much for your participation.
Have a nice day.

Hello Sree,
I always believe in woman's intuition.Especially when it regards with my kids.Lot of times i had proven it and i never did get wrong, let me share my recent experience.
This just happen last July 5,2009 around 2pm.I recieved a text message saying " mom,i'm here at the hospital the vehicle i was riding met an accident we were rushed here at the hospital,i just ask one nurse to let me use her mobile so i can send you this message,i was badly hurt, send load to this mobile so i can talk to you,my mobile is nowhere to find.
I read the message about 3 times, and figure out who among my kids were out from school by that time, and "ringggg"it's my second son,he should be at home now.2pm usually he should be at home. But,the wonder is...i never get panicky,i never had a bad feelings like my heart should be pumping like rock musics, but it doesn't.
What i did is,i dialed my son's mobile number and lo!..it did ring, one, two, three, and i got an answer..."and it's my son".I told him i recieved a message saying this and that, and he say's..im on my way now mom, just a little bit traffic makes me late for a minutes.
Well,i guess i wrote too much my friend(hahaha)just being excited to share my experience.
Yes,i do believe in intuition

Hi Jaiho,
I understand your point and I have already gone through the same feeling. When knowing about some bad incident and our mind will be very calm and saying nothing to worry and it will turn true. The same way we felt if we lost some valuable documents that time also our mind is supporting us by saying ‘search it peacefully you will get it’.
Thank you so much for sharing dear friend.
Have a nice time.
Hope you and your kids are doing well.

I have that ablity , i just give an example, when we are going to do some thing wrong, it is the inner intution , some soul inside the body warns me, hey Bhuwan you are going to do some thing wrong
I am sure others to feel the same, it is their wish to move either in the right track or wrong track ..
Thanks for sharing
Enjoy life to fullest. Cheers.
BE HAPPY ALWAYS.

Hi
So you have returned from you vacation and now raring to go on mylot once again!
Yes, I have heard that intuition acts like a sixth sense to us…many times it is indeed advisable to listen to our intuition, i.e. if we do have one! I don’t think I have strong intuition powers…in any case, I am quite dumb in judging situations and have often been hurt by people.

Hi Sudipta,
First of all sorry for being late.
I have heard that all people don’t have the ability to listen their intuition. Some are confused with intuition and imagination and often reached in wrong conclusion. Don’t worry if you can’t listen it but try to listen your heart so that you can also develop the ability.
Have a nice day dear.

This is a good discussion.
I am not much of an intuitive person and failed many times going by my intuition. I feel, my intuitions are always I conflict with the science. Sometimes I know that it would not work right but since the papers and evidence tells that it would, I follow that. Previously, there had been instances when I went by my intuitions and failed miserably. May be, I do not have that inner voice kinda thing except for the weather prediction thing..

Hi Mimpi,
How are you doing?
I like your humoristic reply. But sometimes we may mix up with our thoughts or imaginations and wrongly concluded it as an intuition so then it will be a failure.
Hope next time you may listen it properly.
Have a pleasant time.

Yes. I am usually right with my thoughts also. I am hardly ever wrong when I use my intuition. ask my husband LOL. My daughter knows it too. She knows that I know she is always up to something but she lies to me anyway before I tell her I already know.

Hi grecy,
How are you?
Intuition is a sudden feeling may be your explanation is somewhat right. All of sudden you felt something about somebody and you may wonder why I felt so about this person and of course something will be happened to that person either good or bad. People call this ability in different ways some call it gut feelings, sixth sense etc.
Yes it is really a talent and if you wish you can also developed the same very easily.
Have a nice day.

I always follow my intuition. It is the immediate knowledege
of something in my mind without the intervention of any reasoning process.
Especially in a delicate situation I have to do what is in my mind.
Its the idea that comes up in the situation right away. And I am
the person doing it in my own.
