The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago except it was some kind of hosting site at $118, right out of my bank account!!! I got my money back from paypal but I dont understand how this kind of thing can happen with all the security they are supposed to have. I put a restriction on my account immediately. I also ordred the security key. I have been hearing stories all over about paypal accounts being hacked. Just really angers me even though I got my money back.

That's spam and its for phishing purpose. I myself, being a White hat hacker know about these fraudulent mails sent to millions of people worldwide in order to trap them and pull their rapidshare login credentials.
Better, ignore such mails and delete them as spam. And by the way, your paypal must be safe as its too difficult to breach into paypal, so don't worry and better reset all your passwords to ensure security.

Oh my God!! That transaction to rapidshare is irreversible. The guy hacked your paypal, bought rapidshare and changed the password. Contact Paypal to look into the matter and try to reverse your transaction, raise an issue, be quick!!
