I'm not a religious person but I still choose to find God, and choose to walk with Him. I'll admit I don't pray religiously but I do pray. Christians will tell you that prayer is our way of communicating with God, and I definitely agree with that. I've found that it helps to pray, that it helps build your own faith in GOd and your faith in everything else. Of course, He doesn't always respond the way we would want Him to, but it's important that we still ask (and thank)... Because not asking is imposing limits that don't exist.

I believe that there is a supreme power. If we can develop our minds(through meditation it is easier)we can certainly communicate with that supreme power. Once we are able to communicate with that power that is the ultimate pleasure and nothing can equal that happiness.

I believe there is a God because I believe everything that is written in the bible. I pray when I want someone to listen to me.There are things that is left unshared to people around me, and in prayer I share it to God, I know God always listen to us, when I request him to heal me , he Heals me. He know what i need. He answer my questions in a way that I will just realize something. When I want forgiveness, I ask for it through prayer. When I will say thank you for everything and ask for blessings, I pray. Prayer is a relieve to me, this is how my spirit breath, so this is very important to me.

I don't believe in god, i do believe in a human soul, but prayers actually help. it's the whole mind over matter concept. if people want something very badly, then they might be able to get it by just wanting it and believing that prayer would help. also it's sound therapy in a way, when people say certain words in a specific tone they make sound waves that can have healing effect. so prayers are good.

Prayer is: mettle human nature, which is developed by all people, does not view class, language or religion. Prayer is practiced in various forms and patterns, also includes things that are private, throughout the centuries, in all places, among the nations of primitive or backward, the same as any nation that is developing or already developed. I always pray with seriously in all circumstances.

A prayer is a plea from the heart for yourself or your friends. Whenever I feel any of my friends need help, I pray for them, and I tell them I am doing so. They may or may not believe in the power of prayer, but I do. Whenever I pray, I feel I get a response. It may not be a simple 'do this, do that .. don't do this, don't do that,' but at some stage after I have prayed, I have the feeling that my prayer has been answered and I know how to proceed. Perhaps it is just imagination, but it works for me.

Personally, vijayanths, I've been praying so much and so hard lately that I found myself asking the question last night, "Can we pray too much?" I really don't believe that we can pray too much. The Bible instructs us to "pray without ceasing," so I take that to mean we should be in constant prayer. I have always devoted a lot of time to prayer, and I know for a fact that it does change things. Prayer is a very powerful thing when practiced by individuals, and even more awesome when practiced by groups. Of course I pray in times of trouble, but I also pray several times daily when things are going good. My God is my Heavenly Father who cares for me like no other could.

I´m an agnostic yet I believe in the power of prayer. I don´t think prayers will help me out of my small troubles. Some people use them even when they have lost a pin.
But I have found solace in prayer at difficult times in my life. When my grandson was dying with cancer, I started to pray to a God I did not believe in to take me instead of him. A wise friend told me not to be stupid, people didn´t die by order of birth and God was no engineer.
The only prayer I know of is "our father" and I discovered the sentence about about accepting his will. It helped. Sometimes we have to learn to accept, no matter what or who we believe in. And yes, that can move a mountain: can make us get going again.

To me prayer is service of the heart. It is an act that is gently spread with love and reverence. It is our primary means of connecting our consciousness to the divine . .a time where we can unleash our souls and connect.

Pray, it does not mind the amount of the words, the skillful and clumsy sentences, should speak to the god honestly with soul. Because the god is clever, we can't contact with the him without honestly and soul. There are false among people, often having the crafty filled with the heart, but spearks in the mouth bearutifully, but when being to pray to the god, must be sincere, so we could associate with the god, and the god could listen to our pray.
