What is life without love?

I remember the songs I have learned from my father particularly from a singer named Marco Sison. The song goes, "What is life without love, what is love without time? What`s the highest mountain like without a valley nestled at its feet. "Who am I without you? Well, it is true that life is useless without love. This does not only mean loving someone like your partner. This means that love that can be express to your friends, family, and even on things, therefore, there is love anywhere in this world. Life without love is crazy. I cannot see how it is without love. Or maybe I posted a question that does not exist. But why is it that many people say over the phone, over the television, over the radio, over the neighborhood, that they have no love but they can live with it. Literally, they might be implying that it is about loving a special someone, but some of these people I have seen, watched and heard over and over again said that they will never have love but they can still live the same as other people do.
