I have a few times, its the best way to buy things that might be more pricey instead of paying all at ones, you make payments until its paid for, but I only layaway occasionally, just if there something I really want and if its kind of expinsive, then I might lay it away, how about you all do you occasionally layaway items at the store?

When i go shopping i see many items i would love to have, but do not have the cash for at the time. Do I do layaway? I must admit, i totally forgot about layaway, do you know how many of those items i could have by now. How could i have let that slip my mind! LOL So, sure i will be using layaway soon!! :)

Well your blessed that you haven't had to cut corners to get the things you want and need, but unfortunately some people just can't afford to pay a bulk of money upfront or all at one time for what they want also some people were hit hard by the changes in the economy so they have to tighten there belts and find more resourceful ways of getting the things they want
Layaway is still very useful, and necessary for many people including myself I'm not ashamed to admit that I use layaway ocasionally when things get extra tight I feel like I'm being a smart shopper by saving a few bucks and making small payments also some layaway programs can help improve a persons credit if need be
In fact there are people who are financially stable and dont need a program such as layaway to get what they want but they still use layaway some think it's just a smarter way to shop. why pay a big lump some and take a big hit to your pocket when you can make small payments overtime while saving your dollars's? something to think about.

Yes, I have done this. Actually my husband and I did it. We purchase our wedding bonds through a lay away program. It was 6 months before our wedding. It reall makes the budget more workable because the motivation is that we are just paying a small amount per month but come to to think of it, it's really expensive. we didn't regret it because we really really like the ring.
