My daughter had hers this past Thursday... it was so cute! Have you been to one for your kids or grandkids? At hers, the kids walked in to 'pomp and circumstance' and had neat little 'rope' things made out of plastic with candy inside. They sang a song or two and then my daughter's teacher shared what each of them wanted to be when they grew up. There were a lot of 'doctors' and 'football players' and a couple 'policeman' or 'fireman' (can you tell what daddy or mommy does as far as those go? LOL). There were four or five little girls who said they wanted to grow up to be princesses (and one who claimed she already was). My daughter said she wanted to be a painter, like an artist, and a mommy. I was very very proud of her. Her best friend - my best friend's daughter - said she just wanted to be a mommy. My husband thinks that's my influence After that, they sang another song and then they all started getting called up to get their little diplomas. We had a class party afterwards with food and chatting.

It's a milestone when they start and a milestone when they end... I remember not being sure about signing up for the mommy and me class when she was 18 months, but I wanted her to be around other toddlers. Her brother and sister were 13 and 15 - not really playmate material lol.
Then I remember when she was 2 1/2 looking for a little preschool program just for socialization, a few days a week, just a few hours for a classroom environment. I cried the first time I dropped her off for class without me. Bawled in the car where she couldn't see me. She was three.
Now she's five and preschool is over, I think everything for parents is exciting AND tearjerking.

I'm sure it was a very proud day for you and your daughter. Our oldest finished her first year of school last year (we call preschool prep now and it is part of the big school) and it was a proud time for us too.
Now, we have two of them at school, and are just so proud of all their achievements and progress. it really is wonderful to watch that little person we created grow and explore the wide world around them.
Enjoy all the proud moments your daughter brings your way. They make the frustrating things easier to deal with.

Hey mommyboo! Look at that little poser! She is really adorable!
And alot bigger since the last photo! She just keeps getting
cuter! She really has grown up since I saw her last! Now
don't start crying! She's still your baby! So she want's
to be a painter? Interesting! Wonder how many times that
will change!lol That graduation sounded so fun! I can just
picture all those cute little ones telling what they want
to be when they grew up! I wanted to be a nurse! Almost
made it! I wish I could be young like that again and start
over! Oh well! Can't turn back the hands of time, unfortunately!

She told me once a couple months ago - mommy, when I grow up I want to be an artist and a dancer and a race car driver and an astronaut... and a doctor. I'm going to be VERY BUSY.... and then I have to take my babies to the park because I'm going to be a mommy too.
LOL!

That is so cute~~~
My brother just graduated from preschool last year and they wear those graduation gown. I couldn't attend it but my mom did. She said it's like watching mini size graduates of university, only more active and can care less about others. Well, they're happy and I doubt whether they can stay still for at least 3 minutes. I don't have the picture to include here though.

I remember when my brother graduated from kindergarten. He had a little blue robe and hat too, and most of them sat still because their ceremony was short. It's a lot easier than high school at least because you have 30 or less kids instead of 1100 lol!

They are really so cute at that age - and really in awe of how many parents they have combined when they have to stand up in front of all of us lol! My daughter could see me so she was at ease right away. When they started singing the songs and dancing she started dancing and belting out the words lol.

I had been very busy for my only nephew's preschool graduation. He is the light of my life. I watched every move he made and I was so happy for him. Now he is in grade one and still the same thing is happening I am here to protect him. I want to see him happy for the rest of his life. He is a very good boy and very bright.
