Why Jesus? Why not me?

It is said that Jesus was God's only begotten son. And God gave this son special powers and sent him to be the saviour f mankind. Well, if it is true that God exists, then who are the rest of us? If Jesus is God's 'only' begotten, then we are not the children of God. So, why this God considers only one person as his son? Why not you/me?

The idea is to be like Jesus and than you will be sons of God. He also told his disciples that they would do greater things (miracles) than he had and most of them did. Why not you? Why not me? Why do we spend our whole lives wanting things that wont ever make us whole and the spiritual being we are meant to be but raised into a world where only possessions matter and not people? For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

The answer is simple : Jesus is not God's son. He was human like us but did have special powers and did do miracles because he was a messenger of God a prophet. When you get a proper concept of God you realize that he does not have a son.
