Mosquitoes

Are you plagued by mosquitoes and flies this year? My neice just went camping at the lake, and says the flies were so bad, they literally attacked them in the boat and in the water. What are you doing to get rid of the nasty things? And..most of all, does it work?

Mosquito is a nuisance. I hate mosquitoes as they carry diseases. Sometimes when I sleep, I hear annoying noise made a mosquito next to my ears and I get bitten by it that I have to get up again to burn the stuff to smoke it out. It is strange that it still comes into my apartment since I have screen windows and screen door.

I know. I keep everything closed, and those things still can get in. Mosquitoes seem to find the tiniest little hole to come in at.

YES... infact all bugs this year seem to be in more quanity... grrr... Someone told me to use bounce dryer sheets, to rub all over yourself and cloths to keep mosquitoes away.. and I tried it, I wouldnt say it keeps them all away,, but it does help... and then... pure vanilla helps keep them away.. and yep.. I grew up using that... and skin so soft by avon also helps

Thanks for the information. I had forgotten about the dryer sheets. Never did know about the pure vanilla though.

Hello this year they appear to be too less may be because of the very hot weather, it is summer here, the temp of 48 celcius might be enough to kill the egss too..
previous years there were too much, one cant sleep at night, they appear around 5pm
