We have money to finance president travels but no more A(H1N1) testing kit.

Palace might have spent more than 3 billion while another 436 million allocated for this year. It is so obvious that this trip is just one of her numerous junket trips that serve no other interest but hers alone. In the province there in no one centavo given to the farmer to help them cultivate their farm. Farmer's complaining the price of fertilizer are very high they cannot afford it. but our government could not sacrifice i sack of fertilizer to be given to the farmer to help their financial problem in improving their land.

This is old news... well, I mean things being done over and over again. She has been traveling abroad ever since she became the President. Her allies keep on repeating that those trips are needed (and maybe they were). The big question now is, can''t those expenses could have been cut down if only the "really needed" people joined those trips? Or is there a way the trip costs could have been lessened considering that the county is in abject poverty? But the reckoning of international travels should not just be directed to the President. Look at the other public officials' travels. Allegedly, a lady senator became a frequent traveler when she entered Congress and there are those congressmen too who have been sited watching boxing games while they were supposed to be in session for important bills.

That is really true. they say that they are doing this to gather more fundings for the projects they are implementing here in the Philippines. But we are not seeing this projects anywhere being implemented. I think GMA is just trying to gather support from outside of the country so that she can report something from her SONA which is due this coming July. I think one of her success stories to tell is what she got from this foreign trips again.

It is really frustrating to know that the government have funds for expensive travels abroad but have none for the poor Filipino people. How sad. How can our country improve if the government is the first one that is not spending wisely.
