I have never travelled by myself. I remember once in a travel, I was sitting by a lady sweeping all the way along. She must be missing her relatives or crying over her misfortunes, or regretting what she had done, or complaining about unjustness to her, etc.
When in bad mood, I thought of going out alone for a travel, but the lady reminds me of the tough time I might be exposed to. On second thought, I prefer to go with my family members, or friends, so that I can enjoy the travel instead of going deeper in the sorrow.

NO - PLAIN AND SIMPLE - and as the old saying goes, ' misery loves company '.
It is a good idea to have someone with you - whether it be a friend or a family member. To enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings as well as the interesting people you want to have conversations with - natives or vacationers - it would seem rather selfish to be alone. More so, there are times when you would like to take snapshots of these picturesque scenes. ' A picture is worth a thousand words ' which can give a lasting impression on the minds of those who see them.

I like to drive alone and am ok on trains and buses as long as I'm travelling direct or am familiar with the changeovers. I dont like travelling by coach at all so would probably prefer to be with someone. I dont fear the journey or my safety I just feel travel sickness on coaches.

When I was younger I often travelled alone. I don't mind travelling alone, and I can do it if I have to, but I definately prefer to travel with my husband, my family or some friends. When I travel alone I always bring a lot of books, so that I don't get bored while going by train or by bus. I also like to bring some pens and my notebook, because that gives me the chance to write letters to my friends, write a poem or just write down my thoughts, feelings and ideas in a kind of diary. In about a week my husband and I are going by bus from Germany to Lithuania. It will take many hours, so it is really nice that we are travelling together. I prefer to have company while I travel

I have never travel alone but I do not think I would like travel alone either. I know I have driven in the past to visit my daughter and will drive to see her alone and it was a 5 hour drive and I did not really like doing that.

Well buddy i feel traveling alone is hell and i had experienced it quiet a few times as i was restricted to such type of situations many times so i have found some ways to over come that trouble and i am going to share that with you now.
take things positively like when you are alone then you can make new friends who are your co passengers, so your circle will improve and you can take a pen and paper and start writing about your journey, if you are interested in compositions or take your laptop and you can practice some programming etc the possibilities are endless but let me tell you that the fun that you get when are with your friends or family or loved ones is completely different and you can't compare that with this one.
Good luck. Keep smiling. Take Care.

I don't mind to travel alone, sometimes like to travel alone when it is a short trip. I hate travelling alone in long trips. It is nice to have somebody with me for long trips so that I chat with him/her. I am a talkative person. So, I prefer to be with somebody always. I like to go for shopping alone.

I hate traveling by myself, most especially to destinations that are best enjoyed with companions and more than just one camera. I'm not that social either so that's the deal breaker right there. How on earth can I enjoy a scenery, a museum, a flight, the beach, architecture, a road trip by mysef? I can't, so I don't bother. :)
