It pays to be ugly, especially if you're a dog. The winner of the Ugliest Dog Contest has been announced:

Pabst, a rescued boxer-mix, won the Ugliest Dog Contest on Friday, June 26, 2009, at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Northern California. Go, Pabst! His owner got $1,600 in prize money plus pet supplies and a modeling contract with "House of Dog" for Pabst.
And the object of this story is: ugly is the new beautiful! Oooh, yeah.

A face only a mother could love! Not! I think Pabst is cute and that he won the ugliesr dog contest! I'm also grateful that he was recused dog! That makes it even better! Pabst is proof that you don't have to be beautiful to be adopted! Congrats Pabst!1 person likes this

That dog needs some dental insurance and braces bad!
But he is cute in an ugly way. I have seen these contests on television before. I bet his owner is happy to have him especially with the prize money!

HI there: I saw this dog on the news the other day and I just laughed so hard when I saw him, he's a "tad" bit ugly maybe but I've seen way worse (G)!
poor baby with his big old under-bite...I bet he has a great personality though
you know??
