McCullough Effect - is the condition causes people to who use computers for hours to see a pinkish fringe around the images.
Since the majority of us spend hours in front of computer monitor. It is good to protect our eyes from potential damage.
So far what are those bad experience in your eyes due to prolonged stare of PC monitor?

Hello dear zearah,
Too much watching or looking at those screens will make our eyes blur. it will cause our eyes to develop eye ailments such as nearsightedness, because the monitors emit radiation in order to produce picture on the monitor.and too much watching it will cause eye ailments. to prevent it, don't watch too much. in the computer screen, we can put a shield screen to avoid radiation. if we already developed nearsightedness, wear glasses that suit the eye. there are already eye glasses that has lens which protects eyes from radiation.
Staring the screen for too long will lead to eye problems like nearsightedness. nearsightedness is one of the common eye problems.
There is no conclusive proof that being too close to a screen causes eye problems other than eye strain.
It makes our eyes blur or strain. One can develop eye problems like nearsightedness and so on. it is because of the radiation which is emitted from television or computer. the best thing is to have some break and not staring at it all the time.
Radiation is what affects our eyes. that is what the question is all about. And besides, blinking or not, our eyes are still affected by the radiation. It doesn't mean that if you blink, there will be less radiation. as long as it emits, there will be really radiation.

I am very thankful for these information. You had shared a good tip. Actually I stayed here in my PC for about 1 hour then I occasionally break in between minutes. After 10 TO 15 minutes I continue again. There are times that I don't want to stop in between minutes 'coz I feel very interested to the topic, especially when I'm here in mylot. In cases like when I'm in the midst of responding to a topic that I really interested to.

thanks zearah for telling about the McCullough Effect .from now on wards i will be careful when seeing the computer. and i will be careful by not seeing computer screen for more hours .
upto now i didn;t get any problems with my eyes.everyday if i am lonely in house ,i see net for 3,4 hours .as i have some household work in house and so i will not see continously for 3,4 hours. in a total day i will see for only 3,4 hours.
if i see for more hours any day i will get back pain ,so i will give a break for every one hour and i will do any household work in my house in between.

Actually, we are almost the same, I use to spend 3 to 4 hours too, here online.
But proper use of time and consciousness to this matter, I use to break in between of those hours.
The study advised that few minutes rest is helpful to maintain good sight even long time in net.
Eventually I am doing the process too.
