hi angel,
advantages: more of breeze entering your room, nicer view, good exercise climbing your way.
disadvantages: if your place is a hot one then during summer your roof will get hot and your ceiling fan will blow more of hot air! danger of falling(lol... no one is that careless!) high floors mostly don't have the advantages of a tree shade.

Well for me i have never tooka flat at the toppes floors in any building yet.But i would just love to stay on the top floor once in my life i think its just awesome and feel great, you get the fresh air that is not possible for the people who stay down to get that. And i just love to watch the view from the top buildings a lot.for disadvantages i cant tell because i havent yet stayed there.

angel16108,
As you have already mentioned one of the advantages where the view is unobstructed, it will also mean that your home will be both airy and wind cool most of the time. The air will be less polluted too.
When you stay on the high floor you can avoid wet dripping laundry from some inconsiderate neighbors who are staying above you. You can also be less concern about noises from ground floor activities like traffic, car park and public passer by.
However, there are some disadvantages too. First will be the tedious climb of the stairs when the elevator breaks down, especially when you are having heavy loads from grocery shopping or travel luggage or moving heavy items.
