Planning time for another cruise!

Over the weekend I was at a dear friends wedding. Normally, I think the most popular question at a wedding might be "When are you having children?" But since this was an older couple, and a second marriage for both, they both already have grown children, you didn't hear this at all. What you did hear was "When are we going on our next cruise?" A few years ago most of the people that were at the wedding also went on a cruise together. We had such a great time and everyone said we'd go again. But it just hasn't happened yet. Me and my friend that got married are trying to plan a cruise for next June, and we did tell everyone that. I know that most of them will back out, some of which I don't want there anyways... It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Do you plan far ahead for big vacations or do you wait for the last minute and hope for a good deal?
