A British male hasn't won Wimbledon since Fred Perry but now there's a definite prospect that Andy Murray could become the first British male to win the men's singles since then.
Do you think Andy Murray can make it to the final and do you think he could win?

Hi Flydanman,
I think Murray can make it to the final and he has an excellent shot at winning the tournament. For a few reasons, one, he had already reached a grand slam final last year at the U.S OPEN so he knows the pressure of performing on the biggest stages, two, he has an excellent head to head against the man who's most likely to await him in the final, Mr. Greatest of All-time himself, slam 14 Roger Federer. Murray is not the outright favorite for the title so despite all the hooplahs about becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon in 70+ plus years, I think he would play the final with his usual flowing style, and you never know what's going to happen come Wimbledon Sunday.

Andy Murray is England's best bet yet since Henman. I think this year could be Murray's year. I think with Nadal pulling off, the only major hurdle in front of him is the R Fed Ex. If he can take down Federer then he would be winning his first Grand Slam.
But given his past checkered record in the Grand Slam events, I am still not convinced he will win it.
Cheers!
