We All Die in 2012 ???

It is a widespread myth now that our beloved planet earth is nearing its end.
According to the calender of "Maya" the world ends at precisely the date 21/12/2012. This particular news is getting spread by tv channels and it is a hot topic of discussion in a chit-chat amongst we friends. It is said the the predictions made by the "mayans" are renowned to be accurate, but there are of course some exceptions.
I would like to know what my fellow mylotters feel about it? Do you really think that we are approaching doomsday? Do you really think that we all are gonna die together at some specific date?
I don't believe in this concept but there are scores of people who do, and can argue with some very valid reasonings.
I would like to know what do you think about it??

hello, NASA has proved that something very large is heading our way & 2012 is when this planet x will be close enough to us to cause some very big problems for our planet. at the same time this planet x is going to do strange things to our sun & our sun will react by releasing energy waves the likes we have never seen, burning most of the planet with solar flares.
in the days of Noah it is said that mankind had reached a point in his wickedness & needed to be stopped, so GOD put a stop to this wickness with water. after all said & done GOD made a promise never to destroy the earth water again, next time(& there is a next time) it will be done with fire.

I don't think this is true. If you think about it it's a different day and time all over the world! So is one country going to die off then a different one then a different one. When it hit's the U.S. is Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia and so on going to die off then it heads to Illinois, and California? Really think about it.

Hi,
You made a very interesting and clever observation. But just wanted to put this thing for the sake of debating that the time is considered to be in the country which lies ahead. I hope that we it is all bull crap and we continure to live and thrive in this beautiful world of ours.
