What do you think is the most common reason why couple got separated?

I read somewhere that financial stress is the leading cause of marriages breaking up. Couples who are under a lot of stress tend to take it out on each other, communication changes, feelings get hurt, resentment builds and the relationship suffers as a result.

hello gus there are number of reasons for separation of couples.Due to westernization and modernisation now a days we are experiencing this problem. I guess indifference is one major reason why couples break up. It leads to cheating, and lack of interest. It also leads to other things that will potentially be the reason why couples break up. The best way to fight this is to treat each day with your partner as the day you first met. Keep fighting for your love and you'll reap the benefits in the end.

I got divorced about a year ago, and I would agree these were all reasons for my divorce(except the violence) I would say quite a bit of it boils down to dishonesty.
