Why are you here?

Hello dhawanbm , my initial reason on joining mylot was to make a little bit of money.After the first two weeks be being a member I learned it took time and patience. I pace myself and try to respond to at the least 10 discussions. Some days I can get my 10 quickly and other days it is not so easy to find something that catches my intrest. I try to stay away from discussions that I know will get me in a bad mood.There is another question and answer place I belonged to but it didn't offer pay. It only made me mad being in that Q&A site so I hardly ever go in that one anymore.I like the friends and money he on mylot.

I like to post only useful discussions, so I rarely created discussions. Also the mylotters needs to concentrate on content of the discussions. If the discussions are not useful for anyone then mylot is not the place for your discussions. For example, asking for referral exchange etc., which may not useful for all. Mylotters should taken into considerations about the discussions. Even if you participate in almost all discussions but giving just a response will be waste of your precious time. My idea is to post your response, having some quality content for useful discussions. I will just post some response which I think I can give good response. Finally, "Less Responses with quality contents are better than more responses with useless contents".

At first, I was really after the money.. but after few days of participating, i have learned how to love and enjoy what i am doing.. you know, mylot's been helping me a lot.. it's been helping me to improve my communication skills, typing skills and that.. the money i earn here is just a bonus for everything.. i love mylot.. i wouldn't trade it with any other social forum site out there..

Hi there, at first my primary reason was to have an extra income. Now since i am actively participating in the discussions i noticed that i love the site more often. I am online everyday to see who gives response to my discussion or to give response to any discussion. I am happy being here in mylot, ive learned to express myself and i am happy that i can share my opinion or thoughts in a certain discussion, now earnings was a bonus =) Keep on posting good discussion, happy mylotting =)

why i am here? the main reason why i get here is because i am looking for a good site that can bring me extra earnings...with that on my mind, i find it really hard earn and be here... but one day, i try to read more discussions here and get interested on the posts and then i enjoy commenting and responding and suddenly there's so much ideas came out to my mind...and then that's the time i forgot about earning here...the time when i enjoy exploring this site! now, i am here to enjoy, to learn new things, to share my thoughts and opinions, to have friends if possible and of course as a bonus...to earn. learn, earn and gain new friends!

Hello dhawanbm Why i am here.To be honestly there have a lot of reasons to make me stay here.First of all.I am stay here cause my English is poor i want to imporve my poor English So i am here.Second i almost on-line everyday i need spend sometime do make it have sense.Third I can earn extra money can many make different country firend and share in my mood listening others life. I feel so good.Anyway i like here.

I am here because I need a paying job and I like to write. The internet has provided many people opportunities for jobs, that otherwise they would not have had a chance to get. My dad used to say he started working as a shoe shine boy, shining shoes for two cents. He eventually saved up to buy a house. I have zero marketing skills so it is hard to market myself, and I don't know how to compete for jobs. Many times I can't even get a volunteer position. Every time I interview... people always say, I'm too old, or too young, or too experienced, or too inexperienced, etc... So when I found mylot, I thought, "Wow! these people that made this website are true humanitarians!, I can now give myself a job. I can be like my father and say I started working as a writer, for about a penny a thought. If I write enough, one day I'll make enough on myLot for a payout! myLot has made me a writer! Thank you for this question! I just realized that I am a writer. That's why I am here.

Hey nice one! I like the way you have framed a very genuine question. What are we all doing here including yourself. To be honest i got on the site not sure of what really i would like to do. First it was the money but then eventually i made a few good friends and i like some of the discussions i see on here. They can be hilerious at times and pretty sad at times too. So i guess i am here for both the reasons.

That is a very good question for all those in myLot to ask themselves. Its always good to realize exactly why we do something. Me, I got into myLot to see if I could give some advice that would aid another in whatever might be bothering them and just to speak my mind; the fact that money was involved had no meaning to me other than a bonus my goal is to help others as best I can and to make friends. On a personal note, I am glad that you asked this question for all of myLotter's to think about keep everyone thinking of why they do things and the world will change for the better coz that will keep us accountable to our statutes.

Hi, when I joined MyLot, my aim was extra income. Then after 3 days, the discussions and the ideas I share become nukber 1!!! Now I simply come here to check out my friends here to see what they have to share with me/us. I find that's very exciting as I feel MyLotters here like my family. Happy lotting!
