I love watch movie in my day off. But I choose to see film by DVD in my house then go to cinema because I can stop it any time when I have to pick up the phone, so I don't miss the moment at the movie. for you, which one do you like most see DVD or go to cinema

I love the experience of going to the movies, I always have. On the other hand, I also like the convenience of DVDs. I can watch them as many times as I want, and don't have to worry about missing anything. However, I don't have a big huge TV to watch them on, so unless it's a movie that I'm not sure will be good, I'd prefer to go to the movies.

Well, I used to watch movies on theaters before but i have stopped doing that when i moved out from my parents house and had my own place.. you know, it isn't practical to go to theatres these days particularly with global financial crisis and recession.. now, i prefer watching good movies online or on DVD.. it's way more practical compared to going to theatres

I love watching movies on DVD because I can pause them and I don't miss anything. There's no one talking, no one kicking the back of my seat and I didn't have to drive anywhere other than the rental store and if I use the cable's movie feature I don't even have to drive at all! Sometimes though, it's really nice to go to the cinema to see a movie. It's completely dark and you can become totally engrossed in the film. And there's always that fantastic popcorn!

I don't really know to be honest. The last time I saw a movie in theater was back in 2006 when Superman Returns was released. Pretty much I just watch movies on DVD. Even if I do want to see something in theaters, for some reason I don't ever seem to get around to actually going to one to see the movie.

I prefer to watch films at home because of the same reasons as you and also i can stay in bed in my pj's without putting make-up on whereas going to the cinema is a whole big effort to go and sit in the dark. However i do enjoy going to the cinema with a bunch of my friends to see a funny film or a film we can all relate too, also big films such as harry potter are better in the cinema because of the special effects

Unless it is something spectacular like when Titanic came out, I am more than happy to watch movies at home on DVD. Whilst going to the cinema can be a nice night out it is a lot more costly than watching a film at home, plus you have the comfort of your own home.

Hello syangku24 , I prefer going to the cinema for new realeased movies. If I like the movie I might consider purchasing it when it is released on dvd. When I go to the cinema I make sure I won't have to leave during the movie.

Going to the theater now and then is nice. I don't do it as much as before, the cost of that extra just doesn't fit in the budget like it once did. Now is watching it when the dvd comes out or wait for it to hit the TV. Eventually movies I want to see I will be able to just not right away like before.

I prefer to watch films through DVD, too. It's convenience to me and my family. Since my son is still a toddler, i prefer not to bring him to cinema because he's quite scared of dark and noisy.Besides that, i had the convenience, like what you had mentioned here, can stopped the film any time and can resume back to watch the film. That's why, i prefer to choose watching DVD at home. I only go cinema when i didn't bring my son along.

It depends on the movie - some movies are worth watching on IMAX (like Transformer 2 - so clean and clear), and some movies it's best to just wait for the DVD release. Though I can't wait to watch Transformer 2 again, on blu-ray! I haven't seen UP - though I've heard good things about it. I think I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD- to rent. I'll watch it on blu-ray then.
