July 4th...Independence Day!

Hey, the big day is coming! Are you all doing anything special that day? My husband is working, but when he comes home, we're going to a cookout, on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, and watching the local fireworks from there. It's really a great view! But, don't forgot what the 4th is all about. It's our country's birthday, and a day to celebrate the freedoms that we are so fortunate to have. Take care, Enjoy!!!

We might have my sister over for birthday cake (husband's birthday was Tuesday). Other than that, we might also set off some "safe and sane" fireworks in one of the parks that allows it or go find a free fireworks show. It's pretty loosey goosey with us.

lol We didn't do fireworks, we just stayed home. And after the brew that my brother-in-law brought, just as well...

Be careful with those safe and sane fireworks...or you will really be loosey goosey! LOL! Be good!

My kids will be coming home from camp that day, so we won't plan on going anywhere for the weekend. I think hubby may cook out. Nice that you can view the fireworks from your apartment building. We would have to go to a fireworks display.

Sounds like you'll have a nice day. Actually, it's not our apartment building, but the one down the street. They live one floor higher than us and you can see above the trees! Take care!!
