We did Mohawks better in the 80's!

I have noticed the Mohawk hairstyle is making a comeback around here. Back in the 80's when people had them the hair was high and it was coloured in fantastic kool-aid colours. These days they aren't as high or colourful! I guess we all think our generations do things the right and best way. What else did we do better in the 80's?

Well I did a pile of things in the 80's only a crazy person would do now like, drink water from a dirty garden house---I never got sick, I used to hitchhike---never had a problem and thank God my daughter never did. I used to put this cream on my legs that looked like I either had a fabulous tan or wearing panty hose something I couldn't afford. Oh the list just goes on, it used to be you could talk to anyone and offer anyone at all a ride now a days you have to look over your shoulder for everything. I especially enjoyed the 50 aqnd 60's those are days gone by but well remembered. Thanks for this walk down memory lane, I loved it!!! Take Care.

I can't say I remember much of the 80s as I was like 5 in 1990... But I did have a mohawk recently. Well a faux-hawk really. My hair wasn't long enough to do anything else with it. And it wasn't colorful OR high... so my guess is you would be disappointed. I did have long hot pink hair for a while though, and that was fun, I will admit.
