I'm so0o0o0o0o happy he's done!!! YES! It's over. I hope it doesn't come back. Just wanted to share the good news to all of you. With that said, did you give anything to your cancer surviving loved ones when they were finished with the therapy? I feel like I should - something along the lines of... "I'm proud of you." or maybe "thank God it's over - God-willing it's not going to come back"
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks y'all

Thank your for the well-wishes. I need to give him a call or maybe drop a visit over there. I need to run errands anyway.
P.S. Don't worry about your english - there's always room for improvement, yes? Good luck!

I am so extremely happy to hear that!!! Recently a family friend found out her cancer was in remission, so her loved ones threw her a party! I'm sure your father is feeling really fantastic now, but if you wanted to get him something I'm sure he'd greatly appreciate it! And I'm sure he wouldn't have made it through without the support of his friends and family!

I'm extremely happy that I could jump for joy!
Actually - he was supposed to go in today for another round of chemo with higher dosage. This was gonna be his second time around. The doctor gave him a month off because my Dad was on liquid diet again (due to an operation). During family lunch yesterday, he was telling us that it's gonna be another painful month. He was grateful for his month off though.
But it's great news when the doctor said that he doesn't need another round. So we're all totally expecting another month - but i'm so happy that it's over!! Thank you !

I have never had a close loved one with cancer. So I am not sure what to say about your question of if you should give them anything. I just read and wanted to congrats on your amazing news. It is always wonderful to hear of miracles and survivors! God bless!

Thank you - it is indeed a miracle.
It's been tough on our family and I'm glad that it's over now. Thank you again. I'm sure I'll think of something.

Awww well give him a big well done and a pat on the pack on behalf of all mylotters! I bet thats a huge weight off your mind. Its really nice to hear a story where somebody os getting well as opposed to somebody being ill or dying :( Im so pleased for him, you and the rest of your family!

Ohhh yes - definitely a huge burden off my chest. It's been one of those things that got me stressing out a bit because there are days when my mom is just feeling hopeless because Dad looks so skinny and looks like he wasn't gonna make it. But he was a healthy person going in -so he had no problems. And everything worked like clockwork.
Brings some tears to my eyes just thinking about the first time we found out. Thank GOD it's over. I feel so blessed. Thank you!

Yeah...very good news, at least a relief for those who are still on Chemo therapy reading your shared discussion about cancer disease. At the same time, of course got to appreciate the true moment of cancer free after passing through a long period of time for Chemo session. I don't have any good suggestion, but only an idea ;-
Why not your one family pay a visit to orphanage house(children) and see for what the most you all can help them while on your visiting time. A way of respect and thankful - back to the nature that has been supporting your dad's health recovery.
