From many complaints, and people make extreme comments on social networking sites, about insecure identity theft from online impostors. Once, a friend of mine, her identity was copied from another anonymous users, to impersonate her on those social networking sites such as myspace, and facebook to socialize with others. That is invasion of privacy; and those sites administrators had done nothing to protect our users.
My friend's photo was copied, and her imformation on myspace was re - used by another mysterious user who impersonate her. Not until another friend of her, told her that she has two accounts in myspace. She was shocked that someone used her photos and information over again my facebook and myspace. That just totally not right. She immediately reported to the site administrators to handle it. She doesn't feel safe to join those social networking site ever again.
Did you encounter the similar experience too?

This has not happened to me but I see every once in a while a friend that I have added in the "suggestion" column and it says add as a friend. I just find it weird that people do this and It is kind of scary that someone could mistake the fake person for the real one and give away personal info.
