Big Brother 11 premieres Thursday, July 9th. The pictures of the house have finally been released. This year they're going green. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/ It's a great concept but the house just doesn't thrill me. I do like the pool room, though. It looks pretty cool. If I were in the house, I think I'd have to try to grab a spot in that one. I don't think there are pics of it on the website but Reality BBQ has posted videos from the house as well. Not sure if you have to register to see the forums but scroll down the main page and you'll find the link for the videos. http://www.realitybbq.com/ Also, it seems that one of the twists is that people are in cliques, just like in high school. That could be torture! Should be interesting to see how that works out and if the same applies now as it did in high school. So what do you think so far? Are you ready for Big Brother to begin?

I can't wait. I've been watching Big Brother since the beginning and I've been hooked ever since. If the house guests are in cliques, that means there will be even more drama than usual. Thanks for posting the link to Reality BBQ. I checked out the site, it's pretty cool. I don't know how eco-friendly the house is, there seems to be a lot of plastic in there. All the plants are plastic and one of the bedrooms has plastic bedspreads. I hope they recycle all that plastic once the season is over. And I wish those bicycles were hooked up to a real battery so that the house guests would have to ride the bikes in order to generate at least some of the electricity they will be using in the house. On the plus side, I did see a couple of bins that look like recycling bins, I just hope the house guests use them. According to Julie Chen they will have to make compost for their herb garden. And there are solar powered lamps outside. I guess some eco-friendliness is better than nothing. Way to go CBS for at least attempting to jump on the "Green" bandwagon.

I am so ready for Big Brother to begin this season. They always have cool houses! I like the idea of them going green. I wonder if it will be hard for them to go green. Have they put out who the houseguests are yet?

It always takes me a long time to figure out who I like and dont like. I have to watch a few weeks before I decide who I like. Then of course, I change here and there depending on what they do.

They have and I need to pull up the link again. I know there's videos out there was well as a way to introduce to you some of them. I didn't have time to get in depth and see who I might or might not like. LOL

Oh Brother Big Brother! A house I actually DON'T want to live in! How ugly. Wind fans painted on the walls? And what's with the swimming pool motif? OMG it's awful. I would think the houseguests could hardly wait to get OUT of that place! A clique twist? That is going to be downright awful for the houseguests, and I have a feeling it may not go over well with viewers like myself who was a third wheel all my life. My teeth are grinding already. Yeah, I have been anxiously waiting for the new season. I hope it turns out better than what I've seen so far.

There's not much I like about the house. It's just ugly! I'd be so disappointed if I was a houseguest this season. Since they're thinking green this season, I hope at the end the recycle the motif and we never have to see it again.

I'm not sure if I will watch Big brother or not. For a few seasons I couldn't miss it. But lately it just had gotten harder to sit down and watch it. I've got 3 kids who don't want to come inside just so mommy can watch her show lol. And some of the seasons just aren't as good as they used to be. I probably will watch it this season to see the cliques and how that plays out. Hopefully I'll get to watch them more.

LOL...oh, to be young again! I remember those days of staying out all day and not returning home until the sun went down. I hope you do get a chance to see some of the shows. =)

Hey Opal! I haven't seen Cortjo in a long time! I've been wondering where she is. It won't be the same if she's not around giving us the Cortjo report!

Just 8 days away now! I read somewhere that the houseguests enter the house on the 5th. Can't wait to see them on tv and get a better sense of who they are and start picking favorites.

I hope it's a good one too! I haven't checked but I'm hoping Showtime After Dark is back as well. I don't subscribe to the feeds but at least for a few hours each night I can check in and see what's going on.

Yep! I'll definitely be around. I watched the first few episodes of season one and then didn't watch again until maybe 2002 when I was visiting my mom. She watched it so I got into it again and now I'm hooked. I'm always looking for spoilers and updates. LOL Sorry you don't have DSL anymore! I had dial up for the longest time. I don't miss it at all!

You defintiely make sense! It's interesting to see clips from Big Brother in other countries. I've seen a few here and there on tv. Last year I was on you tube and came across a lot of the other shows. It's interesting to see what can or can't be shown on tv in different places!
