Well - if I have a comment about someone's posts, I do make my comment. And then respond to the discussion. However, commenting is fairly new to me. I rarely do it. Sometimes I even respond back to the comment made by the discussion starter. It keeps the conversation going.

I don't do it that much either but it's good to have a conversation happening though. Sometimes it takes awhile for the reply but thats alright.

I agree, it's great to keep the conversation going. It can also really help to make more friends on the site, and get more people to respond to your own discussions. It's a great way to earn overall.

It's kind of sad though. I don't think you get paid for the conversations you keep going. I remember HICCUP and I kept one going for ages and I don't think that did anything for the earnings.

Generally speaking I tend to stay towards my own thoughts although I can and will go into another's view but ain't that the point of a discussion but most of the time it is my point unless more needs to be said

I'll sometimes find other's views and if I like it will respond to it. That is to say, sometimes I'll read some more of the responses and comment on them. I like the way you worded that.

Who were you referring to when you said "I like how you worded that"?

Usually I will respond only to the origional poster. I have responded to some of the other responders if I have something relevant to add to their post.

Most of the time I will just respond to the topic owner but on occasion will respond to other people. If someone else other then the topic owner comments to me, then I will comment back to them. It doesn't matter to me, I just like to respond.

Before I used notifies I would go to my discussions responded list. I had heard of the notifies before, but not that often and weren't sure what they were or where to find them. I found them and started to use them and like that I can go to my email and respond and comment at leisure.

I find that logging into my email is a lot faster than logging into mylot.

Before I knew about the email notifications I use to bookmark the discussions that I wanted to see if someone responded to my comment. I like starting a convo but at that time I forgot to reply to many of the ones I wanted to because I didn't know someone had replied or forgot to check to see if there were new posts.

I usually just respond to the original discussion starter, but I will post comments to a response if I am asked a question about the response that I had made to the discussion. I also post comments to all the responses I got when I start my own discussion. I feel it is no more than right, as if they are going to take the time to rsspond, then I can at least post a comment to it, and we are told we should do that anyway. I don't just thank them, but I post comments that are longer than just a few words, or one lines. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
