First off, my condolences to Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Fans of Mr. Billy Mays.
I know he has been a big discussion in the public after his sudden death. Yes, I was shocked seeing his obituary today. Honestly, I hadn't known him by name, and didn't recognize the quick note on the front page, but while flipping through the paper, his big photo in obituaries made my mouth drop open. I had been bringing him up with my family so much over the last few weeks especially.
I had honestly been intending last week to post up a discussion asking if anybody on here had purchased his As-Seen-It-On-TV product, MIGHTY MENDIT. I had seen him advertise it, which is what drew me to it, believing it fully. Unfortunately, I was so unhappy with it. Didn't work and was dried up when bought. I had wanted to ask if anybody had good luck with it or had advice, but that should not take up this whole window (should be separate discussion).
So, over the years, which one of his infommercial products have you purchased? And were you pleased with them? Did they work as well as you expected?
You can see a list of them at this site (and a quick note that this site posted that he had been coming out with his own reality show on advertising this fall! Poor guy.

Thanks for writing the first response! I'm glad the items worked for you. I am terrible at buying something if you have to do any work like mixing. I haven't tried the epoxy, but perhaps I will some time. And the mighty hooks, let me know if you ever get them. We could always still get things "in his honor" in some view. ;o)

Good for you. I just wish I had a good outcome with those darn Mighty Mendit boxes I bought! But at least I had good luck with the "free" jewel glue that comes with it that is meant for gluing little fake jewels onto your clothing. I just used it to sew some cloth/yarn designs onto thick frame paper to make a homemade card, and it worked great for that, though that wasn't why I bought the Mighty Mendit at all for.

Oxyclean....in the spray bottle....and it worked so wonderfully I started a discussion about it....it took paint right out of my granddaughters capris! I watched it work...like it melted the paint right out! So I also told my sister and she used the oxyclean laundry booster....she had some favorite sweatshirts that had grease spots in them...after talking to me she used it in her laundry and all the grease spots came out....they had been washed and dried so it's amazing that it still took it out.....we are both very happy with the results!
