Johnny Depp is one of my absolute favourite actors, due to his penchant for picking quirky roles over Hollywood leading man or action hero types. I usually enjoy watching his movies (with some exceptions)
my favourite movie was Ed Wood
a movie about the worst director of all time, Edward D. Wood Jr., who loved dressing in drag and made such so bad-they’re-good films like Plan 9 From Outer Space. What made Wood become a legend is the fact that he really loved making films and he actually thought he was doing a good job. The film includes hilarious scenes like Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau in an amazing performance) pretending to fight with an octopus that someone lost the control for, and Tor Johnson (George “The Animal” Steele) walking into a door and shaking the whole set. Depp is also fantastic in the title role, and Wood’s enthusiasm and love of film shows through. This was Depp’s second film with director Tim Burton, and I give it a richly-deserved 5 stars.

Edward Scissor Hands was such a fantastically emotional movie. Johnny Depp was absolutely terrific in it, and this was well before he had a reputation as an actor. He was still this teen-idol kind of guy. And it is a teen-idol movie, sort of. But it's also an ageless fairy tale. I wonder if it's really as good as I remember it being?

I like Once Upon a Time in Mexico (he was halarious in that movie) and Blow was really good.
I also really liked Sleepy Hollow and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I'd have to say that one of my favourites of Mr. Depp would be Benny and Joon. I laughed so hard during this movie. It's a light movie but deals with some interesting issues throughout.

Either Edward Scissor Hands or Pirates Of The Carribean: The Black Pearl.

I would have to say Edward Scissor Hands, and Finding Neverland.
Most of the people will say Pirates of Caribbean, but I didn't really like it. I haven't seen any of them, it just didn't interest me.
Also, I did enjoy his remake to Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, but I think the original one is way better. I hated what they did to the Oompa Loompas on this new version.
