when you send somebody a friend invite and the don't accept it what do you do?do you get mad?do you forget them?i sent this person one and then 30 days later when i looked they had been on the site and accepted a few but ignored mine and they had been on that day about an hour ago.this site allows you to take back your invite and block that person from ever contacting you again.so i pulled mine back from them and blocked them, the heck with them they can play with their 20 friends and from here on they can kiss my ask!by the way i have 570 friends there and they'll never be called one of them.this other person asked me why i wanted to be friends?how dumb he somebody be well then i pulled my invite back from them and then they cried "whyed you take your invite back?"so i told them i offered but since you didn't want or need another friend why waste my time!then i put the block on them and when their birthday comes around they better not hold their breath waiting for my best wishes cause it'll never come!that's the only 2 people that have been that way.oh yes he only had 10 friends what a loser!

hahahahaha - I accepted yours right away! =P
Well anyway - I would be a tad bit offended at first but I get over things pretty fast. I wouldn't think it be worth my energy to fume over it, so I just ignore until they accept or whatever. And if they don't accept - their lose not mine. My time and energy is important to me - so I pick and choose which ones are worth exerting energy and spending time over.
Good luck! =D

one thing for sure, he was very stupid and probably during those times he was a bit not himself to accept friends. i guess he regretted it now..must have been an awful experience for you. if they don't accept your friendship then better off not talking to them. they just lost a possible online friend

It has happened to me that someone has rejected my friend invite, but I don't get mad in that situation. Personally I welcome everyone with open arms, but I know that some people on this site have a different opinion about friendships and that they only accept friends with the same hobbies etc. When I was new I sent a friend request to one of the senior members and it was rejected. It was a bit annoyed because I thought that the person started a lot of interesting discussions, and if were we friends if would be easier for me to keep track of those discussions, but I had to accept his/her decision, and since then I have found many other friends.

People basically have different attitude towards strangers, especially on the internet. Many are cautious and you can't blame them for being extra careful. I opine though that honesty is the best policy. When you have done nothing wrong, why be afraid. I use my name all the time. I make friends all the time.
