hey! i am currently employed and i have observed that there are really people who strives hard to do good in their job and there are some who just plainly does his work... well, honestly, i think i always work best if i am paid well. now that i am not getting the right amount, i feel like not wanting to bring my best foot forward for an assignment. however, my conscience knocks me and would tell me to do my part. how about you? how are you doing at work? is it too bad that sometimes we get lazy while at work? =(

Sometimes it is very hard to judge the work of your colleages by watching to see how many hours he or she work.
I have seen many "lazy" people, always take longer lunch hour, the morning and afternoon break. Last to come in, and first to leave. Yet those are the ones that company values the most, because they do "mental" work, instead of all the physical work. They are the ones who always know what to do in a crisis, for example, fatal accident at work. They are the ones who always have creative ideas to solve problems.

I think I am a hard worker.. I am motivated to do things that can't only benefit myself but my family and friends as well.. but since i have been suffering from a serious ailment, i have got nothing to do but to find ways how to make decent money online.. good thing, there are money making machine sites that help people like me.. i hope and pray that more and more opportunities would come..

After 20 years of studying in school, I finally graduated and started working this April, but turned out saddly there were a very few job vacancies opening because the damn financial crisis. and I ended up working in a small private company as a mechanical engineer, so i don't like my job that much, but I do my utmost to do a great job, and I respect those people who work with me. Admittedly, there are few people around me who hardly work, but there are many people who work hard as well. working hard is a virtue, and is the cost for success. YOU DO WORK HARD, YOU WILL LIVE HARD.

I work hard - my parents taught me that if you're going to work on something, you should try your best to do it well the first time. Hard work and consistency is something that I highly value.
So far, I'm doing well with work. I have been with the company for more than a year. I guess they really liked my work ethic because when they laid off some people - they laid off 3 employees who have been there for longer than 3 years. My supervisor told me they had to lay them off in order to keep me. I felt bad for them. At that point - I've only been with the company for 9 months or so.
I think it's bad when a hard worker gets mixed around the hardly working people. My boss is lenient and there are some people in the office that are taking advantage of it. And I believe they're hardly working - it really pisses me off because I'm sort of dependent on them for project reviews and such. *sigh*

i'm a kind of people,to choose what u like, and then do ur best to do it.
now that u choose it,no matter u like or dont like it,u should be responsible for ur action.so,just to try ur best to do it well.
or else,to change and find another one u like.
now,for me,the salary here is not the same as my previous job,but lower here. i like it cause i have more free time to do what i want or like to do.certainly, that's on the basis that i have done the job well first.
carefully choose it,and then do ur best to do it!i think.

I would probably say that I do both, I like to work hard, especially if its for something that I really enjoy, then it doesn't even seem like work, or if I'm just in the zone for working hard. But I do like to have my down time too. I think that a little relaxation can go a long way. =]

I too am a hard worker for the work I do is not easy. So I usually come home drained at the end of an eight hour shift. I enjoy my job and don't think I would trade it for another right now even thought the pay is not up to par with other facilities in my area. I really can't complain though as I am only a three minute drive from home.

i guess it depends on multiple factors like your pay,the work culture, your peer group, the work you do. if all these fall in place, then you do not feel like you are working hard.
otherwise, it can be quite a task.

I am BOTH! funny how it may sound, but, I love my job and I love what I am doing, so I get to (mostly) finish them efficiently... Once everything is done, and I have a lot of spare time, that is the time I slack off... I dunno if that is considered as "hardly working" because all my tasks are done.
