I used to have an all in one printer, copier, and scanner. Over time and through much misuse by others, it broke. Now, I have a simple printer. Sometimes though, I have to restart my computer to get my printer to work because it kicks itself off.
What kind of printer do you have and does it give you similar problems as mine does?

I also had a HP all in one printer, copier and scanner, but unfortunately it broke down after just 12 months, so I was not able to use their guarantee or warranty which was only for one year, since the cost of the repair is equal to the price of an ordinary printer, I have decided to buy an simple printer in the near future.![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

I have a Kodak printer, scanner, fax and copier. I had previously owned a Lexmark that broke after 3 months. It was a bargain price but no bargain! I bought the Kodak when I first moved and needed a lot of faxing and scanning and it was worth the price but I haven't used it for quite awhile. Mainly because ink is so expensive! It also prints photos but I never do that because of ink prices.

my husband bought a canon pixma. it was on sale here in the philippines and i think it was a good buy because of the brand and it was my husband who decided over it and he's a techie. our printer works fine, though.
check your cables. maybe it's loose

We have two printer in the house, HP900 Inkjet printer and all in one printer compose of scanner copier, printer, but mostly we use the hP 900, because it is cheaper in ink when you use it and it print faster, rather than the all in one the ink of it was lost faster.

i have an hp printer. it was pretty cheap. it usually works ok, but if i have to cancel a printing, it freaks out. i have to completely disconnect it from my computer, restart my computer so it doesn't think it has something pending, and then reconnect it again. it's quite a pain. other than that it prints pretty good. and i can get the ink cartridges refilled at walgreens for only $10 so it's not that expensive to maintain.

We have a Lexmark all in one printer, copier, scanner and it works pretty well..we have had it about four years now and when we bought it it was on sale and was pretty cheap but now there are many times when I wish we would have a better one..I don't have any in mind but this one runs really slow and the ink is so very expensive. Mine never gives me any problems like you mention I just wish it would print out a bit faster and it had always printed slow since day one not just because it is a few years old.

Once I had HP Inkjet printer. Since it gave me lots of troble, I got one new XEROX laser Printer. It is still in use. I have no troube with it. Its performance is wonderful.
