The only way I know of that is realatively painless is these acidic pads that you put on them that eats them away layer by layer. It takes a while but they do work if you follow the directions. As far as preventing them from coming back, I think that once they are gone, you are pretty safe as long as you wash often enough to get rid of germs and such.

I go out and buy the compound wart and pout that wart stuff on it. Or go o the doc and have it froz off.
