I have never visited foreign countries but i'm still happy about the places that i have been to in India. India has a whole lot of good tourist and non-tourist places that have beautiful picturesque scenery.
1. Munnar, Kerala (Hill station)
2. Darjeling, West Bengal (Hill station)
3. Mussourie, Dehradoon, Uttar Pradesh (Hill station)
4. Somnath, Dwaraka, Ahmadabad of Gujrat (Cities)
5. Mumbai, Maharashtra (City)
And one of my all time fav is Calcutta, the place i was born - i love this city inspite of the humidity and the lazy lifestyle :)

I never had the opportunity to travel outside India.
But whatever I have seen in India has been satisfying for me.
I have traveled widely throughout India and here is my shortlist., not necessarily in Order of preference.
1. Puri
2. Rishikesh
3. TalaKaveri (Madikeri)
4. Mussorie
5. Yercaud
The last named, Yercaud, is sure to create flutter among many because, there is NOTHING to see there. But the place has its own charm for me. And I make it a point to visit the place every year.
Another place which I could not include in the list is Nanjungud and Tirumala.
Regards,
Srikanth

Hey, mate!
I haven't travelled so much, but some places were brilliant!
1) Fussen, Germany - Neuschwanstein Castle
2) Munich, Germany - Just wonderful place. My brother studies here, also great people living here!
3) Prague, Czech Republic - Karlova bridge (Charles bridge)
I don't have TOP 5 now, because all other places weren't so expressive :)
I visited Russia, Estonia, Little bit Ukraine... i'm living in Latvia (also very interesting country)
Have a great day!
