have you ever encountered a time when you click on a link then suddenly you get flooded by so many new windows of the same site and they don't seem to stop opening no matter how many times you keep closing the windows? I really really hate it when that happens! how do you stop or prevent it from happening? what I just did was to turn off my wifi, but of course that meant all the other sites that I opened (intentionally, unlike these unwelcome ones), gets closed too. I am just a newbie in internet stuffs and I don't even know what the term is for the problem that i encountered. I would appreciate it if you, my fellow mylotters, could help me out.

You should use popup blocker for such problems. Mostly it is inbuilt in Internet Explorer and Firefox. If then also problem persist, go to http://filehippo.com and search for popup blocker. you can also find adremover as an add-one in firefox which is really very useful.

Your pc attacked by malicious thing. It's common when you entering unsafe website (link farm). It's not really endanger your system but still it's annoying. Sometimes an antivirus couldn't stop that pop up, you need some kind of spyware and malware blocker. You could freely download this kind of software using torrent downloader from piratebay or else.

Ok there is something that might help its called pop up blocker I don't know what system you have so I'm not sure how to tell you to find it. It should be under internet settings. If that doesn't work you might have a virus that causes pop ups, in that case someone will have to help you fix it. Sorry that I couldn't be anymore help. Good luck!
