Who can give me some adivices on studying english?

I have studied english for many years since high school. The exam results was good. But after I went to college my english became poorer and poorer. Since I went to work I almost throw away my english. Now I'm thirst for good english especially good hearing and speaking. Do you have any effective methods to help me whose mother tongue is not english.

Hi, I guess you are Chinese, I'm Chinese and we have the same situation, I also want to improve my English, and I never give up learning English, but my English still not very good, mylot is a good place for improving English, and I also watch American TV series,that can help me improving English listening, you can have a try.

I think there are many ways for us to study english. One important thing for me is that I can not insist on doing this.
Today we have a project discuss in English, I know little about it and I am beat, so I come here again.

I think that an english speaker stay with us may be better.

i think the best practice is speak english on daily basis. We are actually required to speak englsh here at work and it actually hastens are english. Mylot is also one of the best place you can practice english if you want to improve your writing skills. So, its only a matter of practice and loving it.

I also have that problem,but i still crazy about learning english .I like their culture,their lifestyle .... mylot offers us a good place to improve our english,i do like it.so let us make progress together.come on !

Anyway hold the line is the most important for one whose mother language is not english.
