Did MJ visit your country when he's still living?

I'm from Philippines but currently in California. Though I would like to know if MJ have visited your own country while he was alive? I knew that back in 1996, MJ visited our country and he performed there. After his concert, he also went to some public hospital in the Philippines and visited some newly-born kids. This depicts that he is really attached to kids and his kindness has really spread out throughout the world.

I am just 15 years old and a certified fan of MJ... I am also from the Philippines... I didn't know that he visited our country... Well, thanks for the info! I was born on 1994...

PS. I wasn't much younger than you when I first heard him on the radio!! By the time I was 15 I was IN LOVE with him... (Not the boyfriend/girlfriend kind...the WOW this guy is AMAZING! kind..)

Yes MJ visited India in 1996, and there was a concert in Mumbai (Bombay), but unfortunately I was not able to go to the concert because of the crowd as well as I was not able to get a ticket.

WOW! India! That's so cool!! I'm sad you didn't get to see him.... I'm hoping that the countries will show a tribute soon. I'd like to share that with my family who didn't get to see him either. We were so looking forward to him coming to the States again....

I was pretty young then, I think the year was 1993 when the glove one came to Singapore for his world tour. Luckly my best put me along for his concert, or I would not have seen one of the best show in the world.

Yes DNA! I saw his BAD Tour in Denver!! What a thrill to see him in the Mile High City! I think I was a few more miles higher than City Limits that night...... I'll never... never forget......the lights went down... my heart started pounding.... then... AN EXPLOSION!! I could feel it on my face... then.... there... he was.... The rest is a blur of tears, screaming, songs, dance... and mostly Michael Magic!

HI! I'm also from the Philippines, I was only 9 when he went here, but I remember the comotion for the concert, I think there was a problem, cause there was no concert venue big enough to accomodate him, so they use this reclaimed area somewhere in metro manila. Millions were spent for that concert, plus the bahay kubo that was airconditioned. LOL. I think though that it was all worth it in the end. I didn't go to the concert though, I think the tickets were really pricey for my parents.LOL. Have a good day! =)
