Hi my friends ,
We just bought a king size bed about 1.5 months ago when we moved to this new apartment. We need a king size bed because our baby sleeps with us.
What about you? What is your bed size and how old is your bed??
Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

My now husband and I have been sleeping on my full size bed for the past 10 months. We moved in together last August and slept in my bed, because his was a single size. We're now married and moving in a month. When we move we're getting a new, bigger bed. I can't wait!!! We're planning on getting a queen. Someday hopefully we can purchase a king, but for right now a queen will do it for us.

Queens are really nice but I like the kings better myself. I have not seen you around lately I hope to see you respond to more of my discussions and I am off to see some new ones from you. Take care friend and happy mylotting to you.

Well, I really don’t know the dimensions of a king sized bed (I mean I have heard of it but never seen one) but my bed’s dimension is 5’ wide by 7’ long. As is custom among us Indians, this bed was a wedding present to me from my dad and we have been using it for 12 years now.

I have a queen size bed, and I believe it is about five years old. I actually got it for free. A friend of my parents knew I had back problems. Well his parents bought a new bed, but after a week they knew it wouldn't work for them. So they gave it to me. I was so thankful. It is a pillow top mattress, and so much easier on my back than my old twin mattress.

I typically stick to a twin size bed, which works fine for me, because I sleep alone, and anyways, I am a twin, so it's my namesake. When I get married, I'm sure I'll upgrade though.

We used to have a king size bed and we loved it. It got worn out though so we bought a queen size one. We have had it for about a year now, I think. It is very comforatable but we miss the extra room.

I have a queen sized bed. When I was married, it was a king but I let him have it and got a twin when he left. That turned out to be a little too small for myself and the two dogs, which he never allowed to sleep with us--but dogs have slept with me all my life except when I was married. So when I moved to a rental house and bought the furniture and a queen bed was included, we all three were comfortable!
I moved that bed with me when I came back to my home state and we're still comfortable in it, me and my two dogs. They certainly are bed hogs but I'm warm in the winter and they're better than an alarm system!
By the way, I hope your baby is safe! We have a lot of fatalities here in the U.S. from babies sleeping with their parents. I'm not criticizing you, but please be careful.

Hey Lulu. I have a regular full sized bed. Have probably had it for about five years. It is so comfortable that I hate to even think of getting a new one. Your baby shouldn't be sleeping with you, dear. Happy mylotting to you as well. Not good for any of you.

King size is a decent dimension for a bed! We have two double beds in the house and they are both Queen size; I could not have a normal Double size. Our daughter sleeps with me a lot and she is seven! Usually she comes into our bed after I’ve kicked my husband out to the guest room for snoring! We’ve had our beds for a few years and one of them does need a new mattress.

Our bedroom is small and so having a cot in it will occupy more space. We had a double cot earlier but after our kids we have kept it aside and start sleeping on the ground level. So,the entire room is the size of our bed.LOL!Cheers!

Hi there lulumartin; I own a queen size bed right now and I love it. But my boyfriend hates the bed he said it is too soft. My bed is about a year old now and I want to get a king size bed now. But I think it will be awhile before I am able to get a new bed. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

Hi there. I have no idea how big a queen or a king sized bed is. Mine is 2 meters long and 1.4 meters wide. I don't know how much that is in inches. I have always slept in small single beds and when I moved to my current apartment 1 and a half years ago I decided to finally get a big bed. It makes all the difference and I sleep better than ever. When I wake up the pillows are still on the bed and not scattered on the floor :)

We have two single beds and we placed them together side by side... so it seems like one big bed... when my daughter was born... we only had one single bed... so my husband had to sleep on the floor... but now that we have a new sleeping set up... we have lots of bed space to spare...

Hi, lulumartin. I don't really know what type of bed we have. All I know is that is it 60 inches wide and 75 inches long. Another thing, my husband and I have not bought a bed ever since we got married. The house we rented since we got married was furnished with a bed, and since we don't own the bed we don't know how old it is. Just recently we bought a new mattress for our bed that is why I knew the size of our bed. =)
