Power cut off 16 hrs everyday........seriously ....

Hello mylotters, I am from a poor asian country and power cut off is one of the main problem we people are facing here. What would you do if u had 16 hrs power cut off everyday? Well Due to decreasing water level we people had 16 hrs power cut everyday 2 months before . We had only 8 hrs light. We had a very hard time and days were damn boring. Nothing to enjoy and nothing to do. Candles priced too high too. We hardly got sometime to charge our emergency lights. What a miserable and terrible life!!! Now its rainy season so its down to 4 hrs but it can increase soon again. What would you do if you had 16 hrs power cut off?
