Torchwood is a Sci Fi filmed here in the UK that has had world success. I don't think it's playing on the same day everywhere now but I know that Torchwood series/season 3 starts on the 6th here in the UK and is on for 5 nights in a row. I do know it will be on in America and Australia as well at least within 2 weeks of here! This third season has been very much hyped as they move onto the main BBC channel here which means a bigger budget and a better Torchwood than ever! In case you don't know, Torchwood is an adult spin off of the program Doctor Who however it doesn't matter if you watch or like Doctor Who or if you've missed the first 2 series/seasons of Torchwood as I believe this series has been specially designed for new viewers to understand! You may have noticed (if you live in the UK) that Torchwood is on the front of the new Radio Times.
I for one am very excited! How about you?

That's a shame. I personally thought the second series was a huge improvement from the first. The first series seemed like it was trying to be an adult show in immature ways. The second seemed a lot more mature and the stories were often a lot better. Did you catch the finale or Torchwood in the Doctor Who finale? If not, do you know what happened anyway?
I actually caught Torchwood after it aired. I watched it online before buying the series 1 and 2 boxset. I have to say that I'm really surprised that series 2 at least wasn't repeated in time for this third series.

I am looking forward to the new season, I have been keeping up on the spoilers and I have been listening to BBC podcasts on their page you can download they have new episodes. They are radio/audio episodes, they started yesterday(tomorrow is the last one 3/07). It seems like the new episodes are going to be fast passed and full of adrenalin, which is basically what all episodes are like and the trailers give nothing away except they are coming and that the team are in danger it should be interesting to see how Reese adapts to this group, I have been reading some spoilers and some of the surprises look interesting.
I have been chatting with friends I have been waiting to see what happened since last year, if Dr Who would cameo on Torchwood, and what new secrets we will find out.
Spoiler Warning
Supposedly Jack has a daughter, and we meets Ianto's family, can't wait.

Yup, I've read a couple of spoilers including the two you've listed but otherwise I'm keeping the rest a secret now. In fact I found out the daughter thing first from reading the soundtrack listing then the Radio Times so they're not planning on keeping that a secret by the looks of it!
I checked out the first play yesterday but missed todays so downloaded earlier but when I went to play it my computer was acting up. I'll make sure to try again now! Thanks for the reminder!
Also, yeah, it will be great to see Rhys getting more involved. I actually love his and Gwen's arguments haha they argue so well!

Same here! Despite catching the shows first 2 series after the second series in 2008 I feel like I've been waiting forever for these episodes. I am kind of sad, however, that the episodes are all going to be in one week as there are also very few Doctor Who episodes this year and so the amount of stuff to watch has been quite limited this year in my opinion!
