Which movies have you liked on the first watch then haven't on the second?

When I went to see Twilight I remember really liking it and was excited to buy it on DVD. Once I finally bought it, I watched it again and thought "Hold on, this is boring!" It was ok when I didn't know what was going to happen but when I did it just seemed to drag and drag and drag and drag! How about you?

I have had both things happen to me, watching a movie and finding it fantastic and then don't enjoy it again, and hating a movie while watching it the first time then enjoying the second time I saw it. I only saw Twilight once so I can't judge, the same happened to me with Alex Rider I found it fun(a leave your brain at the door type movie) when I watched it the first time then all I saw was errors when I saw it on TV, and I apologize ahead of time but Sixth sense makes me want to scream, I have seen it a several times, for a while there whenever there was a movie night with some friends they ended up choosing it, the same happens with movies like ET I can't watch now and as a child thought it was wonderful. A movie that if it had not been for the hype I would not have watched to the end, as I found it irritating and boring and have since seen it several times and seem to like it more each time is the Usual Suspects. The same for Smokin' Aces and Lucky Number Slevin even though everyone else does not seem to like them I do. In particular Slevin, I really enjoyed the second time I watched it.

I was going to say that I don't think it has happened the other way around for me but I think it has. But more for I suppose natural reasons. I have watched films when I was little and been scared or confused by them then watched them when I was a little bit older and found them OK or really good!

Twilight is definetely over-rated. So many people are trying to hype it up and all it is is a lame version of Wes Craven's vamipire movies. If you wanted to watch a real vampire movie, Wes Craven's Vampire is the one to watch.

I can't believe there is actually a Twilight vs. Harry Potter argument. Twilight is, in my opinion, incredibly unoriginal in comparison. I would certainly say it's over-rated. But some would say Harry Potter is too (especially it's fifth movie which was I beleive the most successful yet absolutely boring, but the 6th one coming out soon actually looks good again).

There are quite a few movies which I have now watched a few times that have lost their edge and are bordering on the boring. But the one which stands out for me is "Catch Me If You Can" with Tom Hanks and Leonardo Di Caprio, I really enjoyed it the first time round but on second viewing I found it really boring and I ended up turning off half way through which I very rarely do with a movie. Part of thr trouble is that when you watch a movie which is packed full of surprises it is hard to watch it again when you know exactly what's going to happen. Although there are some exceptions to the rule such as "Signs, "Seven Pounds" and "The Sixth Sense" which are just as good on subsequent viewings as the first time.

Oh my gosh, TWILIGHT. I thought the movie was terrible. I saw it at midnight with some friends and thought that it was decent but when I watched it the second time I could barely finish it. Edward looks constipated the entire movie and Bella looks incredibly uncomfortable. I thought that the makeup was horrible and the special effects were mediocre. I probably won't see the second movie.
