Do you spend your money or do you save it?

Hi Jugs and like you I do not ever have a set amount that I can put in a savings because the minute I do something always comes up. I have started to put any loose change I get in a jar to save though and it will eventually add up to an amount that I can buy something I want or need. At least it helps me see that I am trying to save something. flutterby

I save my itty bitty paychecks. I work part time away from home but don't earn very much. Anything made online I do the same with since it goes to PayPal and I transfer to our checking account. My husband's paychecks are used to pay the bills. It is hard to save while the economy is so bad. Everything is so costly.

I usually spend it as fast as I make it. I am an impulse buyer. I am trying to stop this though and I now have a little bit in the bank. I am trying to save up for a new flat screen tv! So when ever I get the urge to impulse buy I think which do I want more? The tv or the little items here and there. The tv is winning! Yay!

It is hard to save nowadays but u need to always think about that rainy day coming along so i'm pretty careful on what i spend. If i hadn't saved when i was working i'd been up the creek when i got sick & had to quit work.

I tried to manage my money more well, and currently teying my best to save as much as I can. But I always found out the money I save will be used at later times, but I guess it good to save so that it can be using during a time that I really need it. Now, I begin to think about my future and my future expenses, that means, I need to save more.

I try to save as much money as possible. Even when I was a little kid I would always hold onto whatever money I got even though it would only be like 5 dollars or something. Saving money is very important, I mean think about it, would you rather spend all of your money on little things like fast food or clothes or would you rather save it for a while and spend it on something really cool like a new car or stereo. Or maybe an accident will happen and having some saved up money could save you.

Have the same problem as you... by the time the mortgage, council tax and utility bills are paid, the rest goes on groceries and on fuel to get to work to earn enough to pay the next months bills

I consider my spare money any money I have left over after I have placed a certain percentage of my earnings into my savings. This way I ensure that I am protected if there is an emergency etc. the extra money that is left over after I pay God, Pay myself then pay my bills is fair game..

Waah..that's actually my problem whenever my girlfriend and I have money we tend to spend it all...well she sometimes remind me to save an extra but I can't help it whenever I want something I'll buy it..most of the time I crave and spend so much in eating in restaurants and fast foods on the other hand my girl uses all our money to buy clothes and gadgets..I guess we really can't help spending everythung most of the times..but now we're both trying to slow down and spend less when we go out..

I save it to go to usa! i haven't been there for a year! and going there in less than a year :D

I generally saves money when I was a kid and generally spends them wisely but ever since I got married I even did'nt know where all my money goes?? and one more thing I am earning twice or thrice more which I was earning before ma marriage.... but thats all fine I did'nt mind because I have a wonderful life partner with me all the time!!

Mostly I spend my money because I love shopping and eating out since I'm not really into cooking yet. But me and my bf plan to move out within the next year. So I'm doing a little growing up and I made a budget. So far I'm kinda keeping up with it. Which is a reason why I'm mylotting right now lol! To try and save more money.

I save my money to spend it. I'd rather buy a more expensive product knowing that it's good instead of some cheap junk
