Is it safe to purchase at Ebay?

Hi I am from Philippines and I was about to purchase a laptop on Ebay. But I was thinking if the shipment will go safely to my address. Is anyone of you purchased an item at Ebay and received it safely to your location? Because I heard someone that he purchased from ebay and got only the box, yeah its only a box without the preferred items he actually bought.

I am in Australia and I bought my mobile phone on ebay and i have bought a couple of watches and little bits and pieces for my computer....I ahve always been been very happy buying this way.

I have bought several things from e-bay in the past and have never had any problems. When buying from e-bay..... NEVER EVER buy from someone whose rating is less then 98.1, I personally never buy from anyone with less then 99. Good luck and happy bidding!
