I went into the newsagents today with my two children and was disgusted to see the final pictures of Micheal Jackson just before he died. He must have been in a greta deal of discomfort and I cant believe that there on the front of the magazine on the counter is his face with a recusitation tube down his throat. I can understand people wanting to know about what happened but that must be horrible especially for his mourning family to have to remember him that way plus I have to say was not best pleased that it was on the counter where my 6 year old daughter put her sweets to pay for. In life to choose to be in the public eye is one thing, but to be photographed while in the last moments of life is awful. I am totally disgusted. What are your thoughts? And have you seen the picture? Do you honestly think he should be remebered that way?

THe picture was extremely gross and it once again highlights the crash insensitivity of the media fraternity. I donot want to remember the biggest icon of this age by that image , He deserves more than that . Though his life was riddled with controversies as far his creativity is concerned .its pure gold and unparrralled . To be snapped when you are dying ......I feel like throwing up everytime I think about it . The photographer should be arrested and a harsh punishment must be meted out as an exanple

I think the photographer along with any paper heartless enough to put the picture on the front page of their magazine then have the cheek to call the whole magazine a tribute to him should be punished, I mean how must his children feel, my daughter of only 7 was disgusted and upset by the image but his children must be going through enough and should not have to see pictures such as those while they are still greiving or indeed at all.

I saw the picture and it was done in poor taste. The paparazzi will do anything to get the picture that is going to pay them alot. They are heartless people who were apart of the breakdown of Michael Jackson. I blame them, Joe Jackson the people who accused Michael of molesting kids. All of it was not true as I believe the first kid came forward on a radio station to say so. That his father put him up to it to get the money. Which is exactly what I thought when it all happened. These people should all rot in hell for the hell they put Michael Jackson thru in the past 15 years.

I agree with you, I think however he did have some problems and was still a kid at heart which is why he had children around him, although I dont think he did do anything to them besides befreind them. If the accusations ae untrue then I hope that it is playing on the minds of the people who made the accusations. I think everyone has the right to die peacefully and the pictures were indeed in bad taste.

Thankfully I havent seen the picture and I have no desire to either. I think it is sick how they will take pictures like that all for the money. This was a person and he had loved ones and ones that loved him. What if somehow his kids saw that?! Bad enough if the adults saw it but I cant imagine if his children accidentally did.

I haven't seen the photo...but photos like that (as well as those of people wearing next to nothing) should be put somewhere other than the eye level of children. It's bad enough they put the candy right there! But, this is a battle and idea that we as the general public will lose because, news like that does sell. I don't agree with it. There's that story of the journalist that was killed in the Middle East (Angelina Jolie did a movie on it) and even though the story is on Youtube and all...I think leave the poor people alone, let them rest in peace. Rather, celebrate the life they had, no matter how it was done.

I have to agree that even though Michael Jackson was a poor role model in life, it was still harsh to look at him like that. Also, I am pretty sure Michael Jackson was going through hell after his weird changes. The news will do anything to get more viewers so it's not really surprising to see Michael Jackson in his last pictures...

oh my. that is really sad. the more i hear about him, i feel so sad for him. why did he have to see such an end.
and yes, it is not right for people to publish such pics. it is especially disturbing for his family and for his followers too.
