opinions about a topic for a paper i have to write

i personally think that prison is probably the best option for most of the ones out there. I will say this though that there are those in prison that should be allowed to finish out there sentence in a mental facility to get help. Sometimes that can be more torture than prison itself. Prison you can forget about what happened to you after a while and then you become just like those that are in and do this prison talk. i have a friend that has an EX in prison. He gets out in less than 30 days and he has talked so much to her about he is going to change when he gets out and that he is going to take care of her. But yet he was saying that he wanted him and her to get married while he was in prison and that he was gonna change and all of this and yet he got in a fight while he was in there a few months ago and it added 30 days onto his sentence. Now if you ask me if he really wanted to change he wouldn't have added time on to his time in prison. I made this comment really just to say that it could go both ways.
