Hey guys....don't be confused with 7/32...i just meant the loss of C.Ronaldo and C.Tevez...how will man utd do without them this coming season....last season they both were the one who scored most goals for the club....who do you think will take their place now this season....recently i read an interview of W.Rooney where he said that he will make up for the loss...what do you think on his comment....i think this year Nani can take up Ronaldo's place and hoping some young players can show up their magic....so what do you think will happen to man utd...feel free to write anything you feel about the club...keep mylotting...

Tevez won't be missed because he only scored five goals last season. Ronaldo will be missed because he scored over 20 goals from midfield, and had many assists.
Rooney may play better this season, but we cannot rely on one player. We need a goal scorer, and at this point we have nobody that can score 25 goals a season. I can't see Antonio Valencia scoring goals as Ronaldo used to... nor do I see Nani replacing Ronaldo as the clubs number one goal threat.
I'm sure Man United will cope without Ronaldo, but I don't think we'll win the Champions League next season. In the Premiership we are always the favourites, so my pre-season prediction is two titles: the Premier League and the FA Cup.

While I agree with you about Tevez's contribution in terms of raw energy, I disagree on how valuable he is to the team: first and foremost a striker must score at all times, whether or not they defend is irrelevant to a strikers duties. Tevez may have come on as a substitute many times, but he still played lots of games. In some of those games Tevez played, I couldn't see him as a goal threat; although I admit he was certainly a team player who worked his sock off for the team.
In comparison Ronaldo who is a midfielder, does absolutely nothing until his team mates supply passes to him. As the ball touches his boots, Ronaldo transforms into a lightning fast dribbler with the ball glued to his boots. Plus he has an end product which is goals and assists, as opposed to Tevez's raw energy, without an end product.
I'm willing to be patient with Antonio Valencia so that he can adapt to the way Man Utd play football. I'm confident he'll become a better player, playing for Man Utd: Sir Alex Ferguson is legendary for mentoring and training average players who eventually become world class. I was patient with Ronaldo too, Valencia will be treated the same way.

As a team player Tevez will always recieve a 10/10 from me.
However, the manager knows best, especially Sir Alex Ferguson: if Tevez was on form, scoring at will he would've played every match. In training Sir Alex Ferguson probably saw Berbatov as the more dangerous player, that seems to be the case on the pitch too. I still agree with Sir Alex Ferguson in not paying huge amounts to keep Tevez, after all a striker that scores five goals cannot be worth keeping no matter how much the fans love him.
His goals may have looked valuable, but I'm still disappointed with Tevez's goal record. There's nothing to suggest he'll score so called 'valuable goals' next season. I'd have let him leave and buy a player I know can score goals at a realistic price, rather than on hopes that Tevez will suddenly become three times better next season in the penalty area.
Tevez and fans rate him on his work rate on the pitch, but Sir Alex and I rate him on goals. Besides, he was offered a new contract at a reasonable price, but he rejected it.
Okay lets minus all the goals Ronaldo has scored last season, if we do Man Utd would now be 2nd or 3rd in the Premier League, that's the huge difference between Tevez and Ronaldo, Ronaldo can perform on a daily basis which Tevez cannot do. The Premier League isn't decided with 5 goals, but 25+ may change the table ranks.
I agree Ronaldo is selfish, but that doesn't matter as his selfishness won us many games.

Hey evan2009...thanks for your comment..but i have to say i don't agree with your comment on tevez...in my case i'll miss tevez rather than ronaldo...like i said the day when berbatov arrived at old trafford the competition was on for tevez to retain his position in the team...so after that he never got that first priority from the manager...he was mainly used as a sub...and you mention about that five goals..i think those five goals were as valuable as the goals scored by ronaldo..i think those goals played a vital role man utd title defence...tevez is a fighter and he always try very hard to make his team win....i also feel that ronaldo is a bit selfish player than the rest of the utd players...i am not saying that he's not good..he's a world class players..but his goals are mainly the results of the good teamwork and some good passing of the other united players like Rooney, giggs etc....so let's hope for the all the titles including the Champions league this up coming season...and hope to see some young talents at old trafford....glory glory man utd and te reds go marching on...keep mylotting...

Well I don't think they will suffer that bad. I mean they got a boat load of money and they could go out and get some talent. Ronaldo was great for them, but he brought alot of baggage as well. As for Rooney comments, I don't really think he could make up for the loss of both players. Maybe for Tevez, but in no way for Ronaldo.I don't really see ManU winning the league this year, I could see a second or maybe third place finish for them. I put Liverpool ahead them (a healthy torres is key), and we would see what Chelsea does. Arsenal, man they need to stop playing a bunch of kids and get some leadership to thier side. Get a nice mix of youth and leadership(veteran players) and maybe they could be worthwhile next season. Honestly I much more interested in seeing how Kaka and Ronaldo work out in Madrid. Because to me Ronaldo is a template of Ronaldhino, they both need the ball at their feet to be at their best and show their brillance. And Kaka and him didn't get along and play well together in Milan. So European soccer shaping up to be interesting this upcoming season.

Hey maharajb....thanks for comment... money can buy good players but i feel that it can't replace them....and in case of Rooney it would be very hard to make up for both playes but if he gets a good support up front from berbatov and other midfeilders i think he is more than capable of doing that...let's just hope that he'll show his magic this season...and about this season..i have full faith in my club that it will retain it's title...but let's see how it does and hope that it will be a good competition from the other teams as well...and about real madrid i feel that they only buy good players but don't work on their teamwork... when some players goes to real i have noticed that the player is getting worse rather than getting good...i have few examples like Rud Van nisterooy, david beckham etc...but let's see how messi and ronaldo teamup...so keep commenting and have a happy mylotting hour....

I think its hard to the team next season if they do not meet any suitable player to replace CR place. The player like CR make big effect to the team especially to score a goal. As a great team they can play teamfully but also need to score. Hopefully Rooney and Berba can make it for the next season. Glory Man United!

hallo dev..
i think man utd, will be OK without CR7 & Carlitos...
the great things about man utd is this team based on teamwork not individual skill,
and i believe Sir Alex can build this team as same as last season and maybe better, of course with new fergie babes, and he will found a new Cantona,Becks, CR7, etc.. as usually he does..
and as we know, in last season few of them was shown their great talent to us...
Glory Glory United.....

Hey arikikiki...thanks for your nice reply...you are right that man utd is a team of hard working people rather than the individual...but i get this strange feeling that they are going to miss Ronaldo a lot...sir alex has always been bringing new players and helping them develop...let's hope he brings some fine young talent that will replace Ronaldo....i have heard a good news that he has signed Valencia..that a great new..so let's hope for the best and let the Reds go marching on....happy mylotting....

well ... Cristiano is probably the worlds best player at the moment .. and any team will suffer from losing him. also Carlos tevez is an amzing fighter. he nevewr gives up on the field. he is also a costly loss . but matches not won by single players but by team effort. Manchester United have a strong side excluding ronaldo and tevez. with the signing of valencia and also rumours of Samuel Eto coming to old trafford i believe Manchester United wont miss ronaldo and tevez much. and i believe Man United gonna complete the quadraple this season ;) :)

I think Rooney will step up this season and if he gets to play where he plays best (like we let ronaldo) i can see rooney easily netting 25+ goals. Also since we won't have to balance the personalties of 4 big strikers I can see Berbatov settling better and chipping in a fair number of goals. Owen as well could easily score 10/15 goals, he got 10 for Newcastle and he only started half their games and got much worse service than he will at utd. Although this dosn't quite cover the 40+ goals from 7/32 i think a few good signings, maybe another winger, and utd will challenge on all fronts again.

To loose players of Tevez and Ronaldo's calibre in one season will obviously be a massive loss for Manchester United .Their huge boots will be very hard to fill . Even if they are replaced with adequate players I guess they will take time to adapt to the premiership . I guess in Tevez and Ronaldo's absence Rooney will play a major role if he is employed centrally and Nani also needs to step up
