I am just curious about this. Just today my son who is 2 has stuck a cheerio and a piece of Kix cereal up his nose. He scared me this morning because he couldnt hardly breathe out of his nose, so I took him to the er. But just about 10 minutes ago he stuck another piece of cereal up his nose. Luckily I was able to get this one out myself. My oldest daughter has stuck spagetti up her nose when she was little. Just wondering what other kids have stuck up their noses. Thanks in advance for your input. Have a great day!

I think kids like putting thing in their nose and ears. My daughter liked to put things in her ears when she was quite old for this. She complained that her ear was hurting. When I looked in side I could see what looked like a wadded up leaf. It was in the fall.Any way when I took ker to the Dr. It turned out to be the wrapper from a crayon.

Oh man, I havent even thought of him putting anything in his ear. That would be bad too. Luckily my son has stopped doing this for now anyway. Thanks for your response

I had a problem hand-mouth problems with my kids. They used to eat everything as when they see object they picked it up and chew. That's how mad I was when seeing them behaving this way. But food stuck on their nose?? I have't experienced that yet.

When my oldest daughter was 2 I handed her a chewable flouride pill to take. She took it from me and walked away. I didn't think anything about it because she always took it on her own. The next thing I know she comes running up to me complaining that her nose is burning. I looked up in there with a flashlight and sure enough I could see a little purple pill in there! We finally got it out when she repeatedly blew her nose. Maybe you should just leave the cereal up there for a while and see how he likes it. As long as he can breathe I see no harm in it. Maybe after a few minutes he will become very uncomfortable and not do it again. He is trying to get your attention!

My daughter has put cheerios, beads, candy that she should not have even had, and spaghetti up her nose. I dont really understand the whole fascination with kids and putting things in their noses...lol
