Obama's Grants

I keep hearing and reading all about these new government grants but when I try to find info. on them all I come up with are lengthy pages of grants for uneducated mothers, or single mothers to get money to return to school and pursue careers to better themselves.
What about the thousands of people in their early to mid 20s that can't find employment in this damn economy and if employed have extreme financial difficulties that force them to work dead end jobs for low wages and have little if any time to focus on school let alone a possible future professional career.

You got a very good point there. I am not US citizen, but economy sure did impact on all across the globe, including me and my country. I guess, if there is such grant, and it merely focus to women, it had something to do with future vision. Economy will heal. And in women's hand the future of the country's future generation take place. I guess that's why obama grants focusing on that. Empowerment of women will impact many other aspect in life of the country.
