What do you do for FUN ??

I am a bit of a dork and find hapiness in some of the simplest things.
FOr fun I love to hang out at coffee houses and at book stores. Especially when they have a coffee bar in them. My favorite book store is Barnes and Noble, I could hang out there all day.
When low on cash I just love hanging at the library and hunting down new book.
I know it's geeky. But what can I say??? It's me.

It is sooooooooooo funny that I am reading this post after my son and I just left the LIBRARY and prior to that we were at BARNES and NOBLE!!! It is funny that the two places you said you go to are where we were at just today. Usually my oldest son and I will go to Barnes and Noble and go through a few books that we like then try to find them at the library. With me not working we are on such a tight budget. We can't really afford to go and do anything let alone go and purchase anything new so we try to get out of the house a few days a week and the bookstore and library are free.

Well I guess I am not the only boring one here. I was watching the news a few months back and they were saying how the library has suddenly become a really popular place. As it is I have always loved any place that has books, but youre right , instead of taking my daughter to Chuck E Cheese to play now, we only go once in a while and most times just take her to play in the kids section of the library.
Its probably even better anyways. At the library she gets to use her brain while doing puzzules, reading and crafts. Where in chuck E's she just used her dads money ...:O)
How was Barnes? We don't have one near by so I dont get to go too much anymore and how I miss it.

I like coffee houses too and just hanging around with friends and family on a porch or deck.
We like to take long drives and explore sleepy little towns. try new restaurants and play board games too.

..well, for me, i just sat down, read fiction books or just watch TV.. I'm not much of going out.. i just want to stay at home, lie down and play with my little princess..

most people find it geeky when they know people who're just bumming around doing nothing but read books... when in fact, this is just not their idea of fun at all. ^_^
being a home-buddy kind of person, i've come to realize that not all fun activities are found outside the house! i used to love the nightlife, but as you get more mature, you tend to say indoors rather than out. ^_^
as for me, i play an online game called 'Flyff'. it's real simple and i dont know about you, but i just like to level up my character more and more by fighting monsters and vending some drops if you'd like to have more money. hehe
most of the time i do that, but i also love love love LOVE reading books. romance novels and some medical books (im a nurse)for that matter. i absolutely and definitely love Jude Deveraux. ive been reading her works since high school, and if ever i see a cheaper Jude Deveraux novel at bookstores, i buy them right away coz you dont see second-hand Jude Deveraux books everyday. hehehe
i live in the Philippines, and brand new books are... mmmm... high-priced for an unemployed like me. lol @_@ i also read books from Sidney Sheldon. and books that have a 1800's theme or has a storyline set in London. teehee
aside from all of this, i also like to draw and paint things. watch anime and movies, and some korean dramas. ahihi ^_^
if only i had more financial sources, i'd go hit the beach a lot. yay! ^_^
